What are some things that have happened in wrestling that if you went back in time and told yourself happened you wouldn't believe it.
1. The WCW vs WWE being the single biggest disappointment in the history of prowrestling. Could you imagine telling someone in say 1998 or 1999 what the angle turned out to be... 2. JBl being a world champion for almost a year. I never saw him as a world champ especially one who held it for 10 months into wrestlemania. 3. John Cena being the most polarizing figure in prowrestling. I don't think anyone thought four years ago when he debuted he would be hated by most males aged 18-34 who have been watching wrestling for years and loved by girls and little kids. 4. The death of Eddy Guerrero . I mean i wouldn't believe it if someone told me a day before his death.

Apart from those aforementioned.
That ECW's return would result in Big Show being ECW champion again, thus burying the promotion's legacy once & for all.
That WWE could mismanage a Matt Hardy vs. Edge feud. This thing was a goldmine, but WWE just HAD to bury the guy who they earlier fired for no good reason, just to prove that "You don't cross the boss".

Edge, Booker, RVD, and Rey winning the world titles in the same year
Eddie's death
Eddie winning the title
Bradshaw, that dude from The APA who I liked more than Edge/Christian or either of The Hardy Boyz winning the title, everyone thought the other teams were the future

I first started watching wrestling in the mid/late 80s when Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan were at the top of the mountain. If you were to tell me that they would still be wrestling..and still be near the main event scene...two decades later, I wouldn't believe you.

Also, that the skinny midcarder, Terra Ryzing, would now be a fearsome muscular multi-champion who stands to inherit the WWE.

Back when I saw HHH in WCW,never would have guessed he would go on to be the top star and knock up Vince Mcmahon's daughter.
WCW being bought out exspecially buy Vince.Never thought it would end, just took it for granted.
Paul Heyman and Joey Styles on WWE tv.
The Big Show being one of the biggest WWE bust, after he looked like a born World Champion in WCW.
Seeing Mean Mark in WCW become the Phenom of the wwe and have a UNDEAFTED streak at the BIGGEST WWE ppv,Wrestlemania

Doug Furnas and Phil LaFon wouldn't go on to get much bigger. Also, a fed based around weekly PPV's would be viable.

hey! remember that blonde that wore the cowboy hats and hung out with test and albert? she took her clothes off a lot and sounded really robotic on the microphone....
she's a six time women's champion, and the entire women's division is built around her!

That the sweet and innocent Miss Elizabeth would've died due to alcohol/drug related accident, and that Lex Luger would forever be suspected of her murder.
Or that The Rockers careers would go in such different directions, with one becoming a broken down homeless alcoholic, and the other becoming the Pele of pro-wrestling.

That Vince, Bischoff, and Heyman would all be in the same ring at the same time. The three promoters of the three biggest wrestling companies in the country all together at once.

In 1996, if you told me Rocky Mavia would be one of the biggest names in WWF/E history and go on to make movies, I would have made a smart remark and made fun of you.
