...is gonna be on The Steve Wilkos Show on Monday.
He's not really a friend per se, but I knew him when I was a kid, and yeah.
Anyway, he was in jail for awhile, and I guess some other dude slept with his girl while he was in jail, and had a kid. So he's going there for a paternity test.
Anyway, it's so surreal to see some dude you knew from smalltown Kansas on national TV. I'm pretty excited just to see how triflin' this whole situation is.
Anyone else experience any weirdness like this?

A worked with a woman who's son went on Ricki Lake maybe?this has been about 8 or 9 years ago and he was on because they were doing a show about couples that met online and she said that they wanted him to argue with his gf or something for the show but he refused to do it and they did a basic interview with no fighting and arguing. I always love to find out the behind the scenes stuff

Do court shows count? I have an online friend who appeared on Judge Mathis because her parents were arguing over some property that wasn't divided after the divorce... she argued on the side of her father because her mother was a drug addict.
There's a guy who works at the bowling alley my parents frequent, he claims he's been on Springer multiple times... Don't know what to make of it because he looks like he's been on Springer recently.

a girl I knew went on Springer and the whole thing was staged. Didn't even use her real name.

I was actually caught by surprise because my fiancee and I were watching it earlier today, and I saw the preview for the next episode, and he was on it.
I texted my friend to tell him that some dude who looked like a guy we went to school with was going to be on the show, and he told me it actually IS him, so I was just like "holy shit".
Good times.

If I was that redneck guy, and I saw a man do that...I would shut the f*** up immediately, no matter how riled up I was.

Not a show, exactly, but just last month a guy I went to school with was on the news after he got busted soliciting a prostitute. He was a bullying a-hole back in school to mostly everyone, so it brought the biggest smile to my face. And then I posted it on Facebook so all my former classmates could relish in the moment.

This reminds me of the time I saw my Jr high teacher on a local talk show while he was still me teacher. Him and his "wife" were on their fighting about how much time he spends out with his friends and how much money he spends on different things. In reality it couldn't had been farther from the truth.
1. He wasn't married 2. He's gay 3. If he had any money to speak of, he certainly didn't spend it on clothes or his truck.

I can't stand Steve Wilkos. He's a bully who goes after easy targets, aka people who are too stupid to defend themselves. I'm just waiting for the one person who has a brain to go on his show and call him out on the bs he spews about polygraphs being 99% accurate, and how they are somehow the ultimate measure of proving someone's innocence or guilt.

This one guy I knew in high school never went on national tv but he made headlines because he's in alot of shit after reckless driving causing death. He got caught driving 150 km/h while on a no-driving probation and now he's in deeper shit.

I hate how he asks questions and flips out as soon as the person gets two words out. Let them speak if you're going to ask a question. I'm waiting for the day that he takes someone's chair away and they just sit on the stage.

A kid I went to high school with is (ok, was at least a year or so ago) working for the Dr. Phil show. Apparently he was the one who booked the episode with the Bum Fight guy which caused some stink.
With the amount of all of these reality-based talk shows and court shows, it's getting more and more uncommon to find someone who hasn't been on one of them. Especially when they're covering paternity tests, court costs or just paying some quick cash to act a fool.
