Its that time of year when the people of my city celebrate gluttony on a massive level. Giant Texas Tendeloins, Brain Sandwiches, Pronto Pups, and lots of other fried and exotic foods. There are over 100 food booths and all the profits go to tons of different charities. The event averages about 10000 visitors a day, thats right PER DAY, and Paul Harvey once claimed it was the 2nd biggest street fair in the world next to Mardi Gras.
Anyway, I just wanted to mention it to everyone. I'm sure everyone has an annual local event that they get excited about.
And about those exotic foods, the specialty this year is.....
Fried Turkey Testicles!

What's a Pronto Pup, if I may ask? I've heard of Brain Sandwiches from Food Network and would love to eat one.

Are they still selling the Scorpion Pops?
I'm actually in Evansville right now visiting family but I have no way to get down to the festival.
