I don't like to think of myself as the sort of fan who yells "OMG BERRIED" any time a wrestler loses. Hell, I've never even been particularly impressed by the Hart Dynasty. But it still feels like they've fallen from grace awfully quickly all of a sudden.
They lose a handicap match to Jericho, followed by getting beaten clean by Rhodes/McIntyre in a non-title match, followed by losing immediately to the jobbertastic Usos tonight, without the gauntlet match rules even coming in to play to make them look good.
Add to that the fact that the idea to pair together Cody and Drew and push them as a tag team seems to have come out of the blue in the last few weeks, and I really have to wonder if there's something going on with the Hart duo.

Smackdown needed some new titles for their October debut and Bret not being used by WWE right now. He's the only reason they got the belts in the first place.

It's mid-September and they'd held the titles since Mania. What have they been able to do with them since? Don't even have Crime Time to wrestle every week, anymore. Smackdown is loaded with midcard heels, more than it can handle, and pairing off two of them away from the midcard belt scene is a logical move.

How many minutes were they even in that match?

It's mid-September and they'd held the titles since Mania. Actually, they won the WWE Tag Titles on the 2010 WWE Draft Show on Raw. Yeah, I don't know why the Harts lost so early tonight. Should've been better off with a straight up match against Rhodes/McIntyre instead. Though I don't want to blame WWE, cause they probably didn't want to do the same match twice in a row.

I think the truth is that WWE just is not satisfied with the Hart Dynasty because they chose not to focus on them for awhile now. If they wanted the tag belts to be on Smack Down more then they could have had the Hart Dynasty appearing on this show with the belts. It seems pretty evident to me that their match was the least thought about match on the show and they didn't bother focusing on the Hart Dynasty at all, even after they finally decided to give them those new belts (which reportedly had been made almost a year before WWE finally decided to use them).

They will get the belts back sooner or later and I dont really see Rhodes and McIntyre as long term. The Harts lost all their steam and the best way to get momentum is to chase the belts for awhile.

i don't think it's a matter of who pissed off who, but honestly besides the entrance they don't get a lot of pops.

I really hope this"burial" isn't due to the Neidhart situation.

Who pissed off the WWE. That is why the lost the titles. That actually makes a degree of sense. The deemphasis on the Harts feels (IMO) like it came too suddenly to just be depushing them 'cause they're not getting over enough.

Anyone ever think it could be that they're just trying to get Rhodes and McIntyre (two potential main eventers sooner than later) more exposure on both shows??
Just a thought.
EDIT: I mean, why aren't we asking who Sheamus pissed off? Or Miz?

David Hart Smith really needs this tag team because I don't think he is a strong enough performer to get over on his own right now. To me the team look good together and Natalya looks good with the group as well. I think they are a good package and hopefully WWE won't break them up. WWE really needs to establish some tag teams.

I reiterate they just aren't that over. They were REALLY doing ok with Bret walking out with them otherwise they get the entrance pop and if they hit like one good move a pop. They rarely get the "hot tag" pop, or even the winning pop.
They really just aren't that over, thing is the most charismatic person on the whole team is the valet.

That explains them winning. But it doesn't explain why the Harts were eliminated first. Sure, that might make them look weaker, but does that mean they pissed somebody off? It's a shocking thing to have happen and it created more drama for the match. I kinda like that stuff more when I purchase a PPV instead of making sure wrestlers are booked perfectly so they don't appear to have pissed somebody off behind-the-scenes.

Maybe if they had some strong teams to play off of they would be over? Who knows? The closest thing they had to a feud I can remember was with the Usos who were very green and had were very new to the audience. Ideally, after Nexus attacked Bret the Dynasty would have feuded with Nexus members and could have defended the belts against revolving pairs of Nexus members. I am not even sure the British Bulldogs or Hart Foundation would have gotten over in this current WWE environment.

I think the title change has more to do with getting DashingTyre to appear on RAW. Have no idea why they booked the HD so poorly, though. The Uselessos have no business going over Doink & Dink, let alone the Tag Champs.
