Knowing the E and their lack of love for the tag division, I'll bet Cryme Tyme is back together with no storyline whatsoever and gets a shot. Better than what they've done since they broke up.

The sad thing is that this could so easily be fixed with a bit of investment. Here's what I've come up with just now. I'm working on the premise that The Nexus will eventually break up.
Full-Time Teams:
Face: The Hart Dynasty (Hart-Smith and Kidd) The Dudebusters (Croft and Barreta) Santino Marella/Vladimir Kozlov The South Beach Party Boys (Watson and Young)
Tweeners: The Rotunda Brothers ("Lanky" Bo and "Husky" Duke)
Heels: The Uso Brothers (Jimmy and Jey) The Gatecrashers (Hawkins and Archer) Luke Gallows/Joey Mercury Ezekiel Jackson/Skip Sheffield Ted DiBiase Jr/Joe Hennig
Part-Time Teams:
Face: Christian/Matt Hardy John Morrison/R-Truth Evan Bourne/Justin Gabriel Daniel Bryan/Kaval Goldust/Yoshi Tatsu
Heel: Cody Rhodes/Drew McIntyre The Miz/Alex Riley
There you go. Instant tag division.

Good God, DiBiase and McGillicutty would be the most hilariously awful tag team ever.

Good God, DiBiase and McGillicutty would be the most hilariously awful tag team ever. That's the point of it actually. Two guys using their father's old gimmicks to little success, team up for no reason other than shared uselessness.

Not so much of a stretch though, when you consider that Hennig and Brett DiBiase tagged very successfully in FCW as a team known as The Fortunate Sons.

I miss the importance JeriShow placed on the belts. Ever since then we've had DX (who didn't do anything with the belts), ShoMiz (cheap and unoriginal JeriShow knockoff) and The Hart Dynasty (who kind of disappeared after Bret left).
It's not hard to put some importance on tag belts. In fact if they tried, the division could be one of the biggest draws in the company.

I thought that this thread was going to say one man, Chris Jericho, beat the tag champions. Actually, they dominated him until it became a one on one match after Harry... eliminated himself? Anyway, yeah what happened? For a second there, it looked like they were setting up a title bout at NOC. There was a #1 Contender's match, but it ended in a draw. And then it was never mentioned again. Oy...

My guess, Show vs Punk are about to fight until...YOU KNOW IT'S THE MACK MILITANT! Long: Sorry playas, but apparently every match must be a title match, so umm...you two will go two on two with...THE HART DYNASTY! Holla Holla Holla! You know that would be awesome! I'd spend money too see that happen, plus they'd bring the tag titles some needed attention and I could see them being entertaining as two guys who can't stand each other but are stuck as a tag team eventually cultimating in a main event feud when one of them wins the World Heavyweight Title and my proposal for their tag team is perfect..... THE PUNK SHOW!

Which begs the question of why they didn't win the contendership in the one match, but....

Personally, the whole division went to hell around WrestleMania in 2009. After all, you had a unification match, and it was pushed to the dark match for a Kid Rock mini-concert.
Granted, JeriShow held the belt, but I think that was the first major indication of the past several years that the WWE didn't give a rat's ass about the division.
