Been there, done that. And I would've been your best friend if you would've given them the Ki Krusher, and you would no longer have any need of them. Seriously though, it's not wrong to be offended and--on this particular instance--consider how dumb your friends really are. I love my friends and all, but when they commence to talk about something like that they know absolutely jack crap about, then I can't handle it. If I were to strike up a conversation with someone who is a bowling expert and talk about how much I like it when "that one guy" blows up on TV and gets all emotional. And then, I go on to talk about that "210 I bowled one time" That's just being a jackass. Show the respect to the ones who live for their interests and hobbies and don't devalue it because you have a casual interest in it. It's pathetic.

To be honest, there are probably a lot of people that read what you said and agreed with you, when last month they were going nuts for The Zombie and Macho Libre.

Equally jackassed is when someone throws in their two cents and judges people based on nothing. What is your basis? *sigh* Uh, was that aimed at me, 'cause if so I wasn't talking about what you said, but about what the guy's rant was talking about.

To be honest, there are probably a lot of people that read what you said and agreed with you, when last month they were going nuts for The Zombie and Macho Libre. lol. I have a story of my own. One time I was watching a Hardy Boyz vs. Edge/Christian match with a bunch of casual viewers, and this one person was adamant that the Hardy's weren't real brothers and that Edge and Christian were. I argued with them for a little bit, but then just shrugged my shoulders and smiled. I can understand how it's frustrating to watch a great match with people who don't look at it the same way you do, but I'm also fine with it. I'm a film buff and while at first I cringe when people say things like "Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas was a good movie. It was really good", I just shrug my shoulders and smile.

You can't really argue taste/personal preference.

Family Guy too. *Hides under flame resistant blanket*

My whole thought on W a B 2 was, maaaaaaaaaan Bernie would reek by now. Apologize for the hijack, but: For one, I saw II before I saw the original, and since I would give just about anything to live on Saint Thomas USVI, I will always dig that movie (plus, the lady who voiced Patty on Doug was in it).

As far as wacky hijinx go the flick was alright.
And I'm never gonna cast a stone at anyone for hijacking a thread.

I can also totally sympathize with silk's remarks about the world of film. I love how The Ring is supposed to be such an "original horror movie" and movies like The Notebook "really make you think." Actually, I don't. It makes me throw up in my mouth. Hollywood monopoly of film = McMahon monopoly of wrestling.

I agree that there's really no accounting for taste.
Except for the fact that the best movie of all time is Showdown in Little Tokyo. All that disagree shall be shot into the sun.

QFT with napoleon Dynamite not so much with Family guy To be honest, I'm a big Family Guy fan (at least before the cancellation), but I will say that I have pledged to NEVER see Napoleon Dynamite just because of the sheer amount of people two summers ago quoting that movie to death and all doing that same, stupid voice. Plus, I didn't think it even looked that great to begin with. Back on Weekend At Bernie's II, c'mon, it had Barry Bostwick. Name something that couldn't be made better if it had Barry Bostwick in it. Go ahead, I dare you!

I was watching JD 2005 with my cousins last year, they're 13 and 10.So anyways they watched the MNM vs Hardcore Haas match,My cousin Dan wanted to skip Carlito and Show because he thought it was obvious who was going to win but was surprised to find out Carlito won,They fast forwarded through London/Chavo because it was boring,They sat through the first few minutes of Booker/Angle before fast forwarding to the end, skipped OJ/Heidenreich,Watched Eddie/Rey,and JBL/Cena.I just didn't like the fact that they only watched it for Rey/Cena,and basically insulted the London/Chavo match because they didn't know who they were.
Hell my cousin Dan even hates Kurt Angle and most of the time when they're watching it only want to see the Women's matches thinking that they will do Lesbian antics.I'll tell ya Vince has today's audiences brainwashed into thinking all woman love to kiss other woman, get in pillowfights, and walk around in their undies.
