Let's hear it for BBQ.
From Burgers to Tri-Tip to Pulled Pork or Ribs, if it's cooked on a flame and full of flavor and seasonings...let's give it the appreciation it deserves.

Oh hell ya! BBQ ribs with lots of spicy sauce, BBQ chicken with lots of sweet sauce, pulled pork all yummy as hell. My dad was going to take me to a really nice chophouse for my birthday, I told him I'd rather have a steak off the grill in the backyard.

I discovered earlier today how amazing Santa Maria Style BBQ is (and I grew up in KS and love Kansas City style bbq so this was quite the surprise).
Basically they use a simple rub on tri-tip (made up of Garlic, Salt & Pepper) and cook over Red Oak. Perfect amount of juicy, perfect amount of chewy, perfect amount of smoke and flavor.

Barbecue is by far my favorite way to cook food. And I could eat barbecue sauce on a tennis ball and it would be delicious. So, yes it gets my appreciation.

For me, charcoal is the best way to grill. I use gas for quick stuff (burgers, hot dogs, etc.).

BBQ is an absolute way of life for me. Down here, if you can't cook BBQ, you aren't worth shit.

Just this year I was in a rush to finish some burgers on the grill and decided to close the grill to speed the process up a little bit. What happened was what can be described as a smoked hamburger - an outer layer of smoked beef, and the inside was medium rare, with a fair amount of pepper jack melted on top. It was awesome.

Intestines. Chicken isaw and pork isaw, and bulaklak which kinda feels like softer pork fat: they taste awesome. There's also barbecued blood cubes, too.

I'm good with chicken and steaks on the grill. The wife recently found a place that sells really meaty racks of pork ribs and I've been honing my skills on them.
Or if I'm too lazy to cook, I just go to Rib Nest in Gardena.

For some reason, the first thing I thought of was the episode of Salad Fingers that had the armless guy who wore an apron that read "BBQ".
