I have wanted to change my first name for a while now, as I really don't care for the first name I was given, but I haven't come up with anything better.
Do you like your first name?

Yeah, especially as it's the same as the first name of my favourite wrestler ever.

when it's pronounced right Same here. I also have a preference to when it's pronounced with Spanish vowels (slight difference in how the "i" in my name is pronounced).

Meh. Could be worse. I like my last name better, though.

I share it with the 2006 AL MVP, two pop idols, a pitchman for Apple, a member of Nexus and a character from one of my favorite animated films. It could be worse.

No way. Mainly because its not a common name where I grew up and Id rather have a common name to help fit in easier.

No cause mine is a Unisex name and they spell it wrong all the time. That's why I stick with my nickname.

I hated it growing up and even now only know of one other person to ever exist with the name but I grew to love it over the years.

It's fine. Besides, it sounds all French and bad-ass.

I hated the full version when I was younger and would only accept being called Matt. As I got older, I stopped caring so much, and now I'll go by either. (although the vast majority of people I know still just call me Matt; only family usually drags out Matthew.)
I like it now, but not so much when I was a wee sprout.

Yeah that's same thing with me I only allow few people calling me Ashley mainly my friends, family and the people I work for. Other than that I prefer to be called Ash.

I'm fine with mine.
In school though I wanted to change it because it was so common, when someone said it, 5-6 people (including me) turned to look.

My first name is Keenan, and I pretty much love it. It's pretty rare, and while the 'where's kel' comments got annoying through k-12, I think it's a pretty rad character name.

No. It has only soft consonants. It doesn't sound manly enough and it's only one letter away from an international girl's name so people on-line sometimes think I'm a girl.
