I just thought the Druids were giant versions of the midgets from Phantasm.

The Druids is a union gig and he just places a call to the local chapter in whatever town he happens to need 'em in. Have Robe Will Travel. I thought he just checked the phone book and looked for the local monastery for Druids. When the Druids aren't working for the Undertaker, they go back to their old job of fermenting grapes and making wine.

My kayfabe view of the druids is that they are part of a secret society aimed at protecting the Undertaker and his powers, as well as performing ceremonial duties for big events in the Undertaker's battles. This secret society has members all over the world and can convene within minutes of need. WWE should do a book on this kind of stuff. I'd buy one. One very difficult thing about pro wrestling is twisting your brain on how to explain things that you see on TV in a storyline or kayfabe sense based off of the methods used. In that sense, Undertaker definitely puts the "cult" in difficult, lol. This would actually be very close to my own theory of explanation. Undertaker is a guy that has worked his way up a "chain" of occult knowledge and is basically "worshiped" or "celebrated" by lower people. Just like any decent occult secret society, you have to have very powerful members involved that actually work for the company that no one knows are under the hoods. Camera men, pyrotechnicians, referees, even other wrestlers. He could have a secret WWE employee traveling chapter, and local city/town chapters at the same time. The city/town chapters could be cops, lawyers, ect. He gets away with attempted murder. This would explain his ability to control the lights and the pyrotechnics, because he really is controlling them, based off of a massive amount of politically powerful influence backstage, and if you don't know who they are, then not even Vince McMahon could stop him, assuming he isn't in on it ofcourse. He could literally strike McMahon with lightning any time he wants to. Therefore, instead of just placing a phone call, all Undertaker has to do is give a slight hand signal and everyone watching immediately knows what to do. Actually, under this line of thinking Vince McMahon really does make the most sense as the "higher power" of Undertaker's cult.
