...you cared about the Intercontinental title and who was competing for it?
Honestly, my care goes way back to The Rock's heel reign in '97-'98.
Fun fact: The IC title changed hands approximately 50 times from '99-'03.

The last time Goldust had it, and now since Carlito is competing for it.

Orton had it for long time and held some fueds for it along with an excellent hardcore brawl. The only time I gave a damn about Orton was with this title and when he was with Evolution.

When Orton had it...he did have some pretty damn good matches when he had the IC belt. Also Orton was bearable during that time.

Orton, because he respected it. He treated it like a world belt instead of just a stepping stone. He'd do anything for it, and constantly reminded us of how long he had it, made it mean something again.

I never stopped caring for the IC Title. But dammit I've hated the look since the Attitude Era took away the best belt ever.

out of those choices, Rock. Other good IC champs of the past 10 years are Goldust, RVD, Jericho....sadly, as much as I like him, putting the IC title on Flair really did NOTHING for it, or him.

I'm a big mark for historical titles and the IC belt is my favorite--really hoping Carlito gets it soon.

I picked Orton. When he was IC champion, he did constantly remind us how long he was champion and I think that was when he was at his best. Everyone was just waiting for someone to step up and take it from him. And his reign worked for the Evolution storyline.
At least then I didnt have to think for 5 minutes about who the IC champion is, whereas last week where I couldnt remember who the champion was...until i realized it was that guy thats with Melina.
