I want to eat this beer bottle in my room. It's just staring at me waiting to get eaten.

Sand and shaving cream.
...I actually licked shaving cream once last year. It was disgusting.
I don't shave anything anymore though (I use an epilator) so I no longer have the temptation of shaving cream in front of me.

I once chewed on a bar of soap that was pink & see through when I was little. It tasted awful & I was sick for a couple of days. Not fun.

Yeah, I've eaten those before. Not, like, all at once, but slowly over the course of an hour.

My kitten's nose. It looks sorta like a little chocolate drop.

I once wanted to eat a Play Doh Hamburger and then I did. It was salty. I ate plenty of play-doh as a child. To the point that when I read your post, the taste of play-doh came to mind. It is indeed very salty.

As a little kid I once saw what I thought was a nice big delicious piece of chocolate just lying there. I picked it up, happily bit into it, and then spat it out as fast as I could. Turns out I was trying to eat a door jam. To this day I can still sometimes taste it.

A cloud. Just like a lil piece of one. Maybe a bit of cirrus soup.

The gems in Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo. I once remarked to my girlfriend how they look like candy. She theorized that I was just really hungry. Though technically, those would be digital objects. But that still makes them inedible.
