So you're saying an isolated incident that happened nearly a decade ago determines the fanbase for an entire city. So I should expect Lions fans to throw things at players, provoking them to go into the stands and fight back? Yes, A decade wasn't that long ago. Unless the fans have changed, which I doubt. ...And are we forgetting the Jim Joyce death threats? So yes Detroit as well(Although they did take the high road the following day). You're telling me that wouldn't have happen in any city regardless? Didn't Don Denkinger get death threats after he missed a call in the World Series by St. Louis fans? And I don't recall any other fan incidents caused by St. Louis fans. People making idiotic death threats because of sports happens all the time (see Bartman, Steve). I honestly cannot think of any other incidents from Cleveland fans other than Bottle-gate, and even with that, it probably would've happened in any other city if the same situation happened. I have no doubt the Cleveland fans would be saying "f*** you" in response. So don't make it seem like Cleveland is ready to love Lebron again. *Some* probably would say that. But nobody was ever pretending that Cleveland was gonna "love Lebron again". The issue at hand was that Lebron had a chance to do the right thing, and he didnt, because he is an egotistical asshole. Period. That's exactly what I was trying to say slickness.

Death threats maybe(It just takes one person to make everyone else look like an idiot). But throwing stuff, that really just happens in places like Cleveland, Detroit, Oakland( and stabbing), Pittsburg, and Philly. Places where the most rowdiest fans come from.

Forgot to add chicago to that group, but foam fingers aren't life threatening like beer bottles are( or chairs like at the Palace Brawl). ...And besides, it looked like Sumo Hall after a huge upset. So to me that's a big positive.

Shaq deal seems official. Rotoworld already calling him the "Big Leprechaun" ;D That makes no sense. That's like calling someone a "Big Midget". ...And I know what you're going to say "But what about Big Baby." Well you see that's been proven...

And how many times does a conference really support more than 3-4 teams as legit contenders? The West has been doing it for the last few years. Most of the teams that make the West's playoffs the last few years were each a contender in their own right.

Most of the teams that make the West's playoffs the last few years were each a contender in their own right. I see those teams as regulars. The Suns, Mavericks, Nuggets, maybe Rockets. They have good regular season records but just seem to have what it takes to get over the hump. Now the Mavs did make it to the finals but they've dropped back to where they were before that appearance. And really though, Lakers and Spurs have been the Western Conference Champions 11 of the last 12 years. And them making it has never been in heavy doubt.

Knicks had a fine offseason that Jim Dolan decides to ruin. I have no idea what is his obsession with Isiah Thomas.

After what the owner printed, I wouldn't expect him to thank them either. The *city* of Cleveland doesnt deserve a thank you for supporting/worshiping him?? Really? ? Yes, really. He paid his debt to the city, he resurrected the NBA in Cleveland. He made the team relevant. Most of those worshipers were likely not even watching the team before Lebron came to town. He's under no obligation to them or anything else. He thanked those who were there for him the entire time, which was more than he had to do. I'm not one who believes athletes are forever beholden to the cities they play for. He wanted to play somewhere else and fans turned on him, so he doesn't owe them anything. Egotistical asshole or not (yes, he is), fans still have a bad case of entitlement complex. When fans take the high road, then I could see criticizing an athlete for not taking one. But as they have not, he's under no obligation to himself.

So my younger sister is currently in the Thunder's summer league youth basketball camp thing and she got some sweet Thunder gear so far, and tomorrow Daequan Cook and Cole Aldrich will be at the camp to sign autographs and give the kids tips.

Looking at the schedule for the Thunder and for the third year in a row, we both begin and end the season at home. However our season closer isn't against our usual season closing opponent, Memphis, but rather the Bucks this year.
