I hope he is. I realize I've been in the minority from the start, but I love the super teams. The games will be insane, plus if a team not half as heralded beats them it would make the players on that team for life. Thing is, if this second super team happens, it means the East will basically be just 4 teams, the Celtics, the Knicks, the Magic, and the Heat. As opposed to the very deep east right now which has only 3 real contenders.

But if this second super team forms, these three teams lose all chance they have. Especially the Bucks and Hawks.

After what the owner printed, I wouldn't expect him to thank them either. The *city* of Cleveland doesnt deserve a thank you for supporting/worshiping him?? Really? ?

The Bucks are a second round team at best given what they have and ... well, I do think we've just found the last living NBA fan who takes the Hawks seriously as a threat.

Well, ok, the Hawks are a mid-card team, so to speak. They'll make the playoffs and that's about it.

Interesting, Melo won't sign the extension it looks like. Very interesting. I'm throwing it out there, the Knicks and Wizards have enough cap room to get him.

And how many times does a conference really support more than 3-4 teams as legit contenders?

Yea, if I were LeBron, I doubt I would thank Cleveland either. He totally kicked that city in the collective balls with that farce known as 'The Decision' after everyone there treated him like god for 7 years. Explain to me why he shouldnt have taken the high road and thanks them for that

Have you been reading Cleveland fans comments recently? Because a portion of fans on message boards speak for every fan in Cleveland? Look, I get what you're saying. There was a portion that went nuts (burning jerseys etc) but to completely ignore the ENTIRE fanbase after the shit he pulled was just salt in the wound.

Hey, he's not in Cleveland. He doesn't know what the "real" fans feel, he just knows what the social media outlets are telling him.
...and from what I can tell, that is the real reaction of the fans in Cleveland about this whole situation. Which shouldn't be a surprise since it's f***ing Cleveland.

So I should expect Lions fans to throw things at players, provoking them to go into the stands and fight back? Also, LeBron could've been above all of that and thanked Cleveland. It could have given him some of his respect back by being more classy than Gilbert and some Cleveland fans.

Unless the fans have changed, which I doubt. ...And are we forgetting the Jim Joyce death threats? So yes Detroit as well(Although they did take the high road the following day). I have no doubt the Cleveland fans would be saying "f*** you" in response. So don't make it seem like Cleveland is ready to love Lebron again.

But nobody was ever pretending that Cleveland was gonna "love Lebron again". The issue at hand was that Lebron had a chance to do the right thing, and he didnt, because he is an egotistical asshole. Period.

I hate when the American pro leagues send the crappy teams over to foreign countries for these games. Unless of course the Raptors & Nets have huge fan bases in London, then I can understand.

I just want to thank Lorenzen Wright for being a great player and for being one of my childhood heroes. He was extremely nice every time I met him in person.
I also want to note, this is the first time I've been excited for an NBA season in a long time. Hoping for the Grizzlies, Pistons, and Thunder to do well.
