one of the best series of all time is back and it is already in dire jeopardy due to the lack of Kremlings. King K. Rool is God Good the best there is, best there was, best there ever will be.

Oh, yeah, the Kremlings aren't gonna be in it.
I'll believe that when me s*** turns purple and smells like rainbow sherbet.

Well, yeah, the lack of Kremlings are a total bummer (the head developer of Retro Studios stated in an interview that no crocodillians will be in this game), but any of the non-reptile enemies you encountered in DKC will be a very nice sendup. For all we know, the giant octopus will be named "Croctopus"... the original enemy, not that godawful abomination in the GBA remake of DKC 3.

I just hope we get the killer soundtracks, that alone would warrant buying the game.

the original enemy, not that godawful abomination in the GBA remake of DKC 3. Right? I mean what the f*** was that? It wasn't even rendered properly, like they just HAD to come up with a new boss on the spot There won't be any water levels either, so no Enguarde the Swordfish. They better make up for it by letting you use the parrot.

But is there collecting of many types of coins and bananas? I know what else this game needs -- the DK Rap!

And, I hate the lack of underwater stages (although the contradiction to the pace of the game is explainable), but I do believe that Squawks will make a big appearance. I'd also like to see Hoofer.

Why no Kremlings? Does RARE own them?

Why no Kremlings? Does RARE own them? No. If anything, the Kremlings have been used in many Nintendo games after RARE went to Microsoft (see the Mario Strikers series and Super Sluggers). I guess Retro Studios wanted to try a new idea for the primary enemy. Here's hoping the Tikis are memorable for the right reasons.

I'm guessing Kremlings will be the draw for DKCR2.
The soundtrack is being done by the composer from Super Metroid and Metroid Prime Trilogy, it should be epic.

Awesome. This game makes me glad I decided to purchase a Wii a few years back.
