What's the consensus on how dinosaurs managed to get around the square-cube law? Many were huge and quite fast for their size.
I've heard different theories on this, but what do most archeologists think?
(Also, nice FG reference.)

A huge cargo spaceship from the future was turned into a giant bomb set to crash into the earth (And destroy it obviously), But it was sent back through time to the jurassic period and crashed thus wiping out the Dinosaurs.
That's according to "Doctor Who"

Because they didn't love each other....
What? That's the explanation they gave in "Puma Man"

Everything that has a beginning also has an end, Neo. Wait, what did I just call you?
Technically, an archeologist would not be able to help you with dinosaurs, as archeology is a discipline of anthopolgy. You would want a paleontologist. Now, both fields are similar, as they are about 10% bones, and 90% conjecture.

According to Star Trek some of them became technologically advanced and left the planet before Earth was struck. They can now be found in the Delta Quadrant. And now time for a serious response: What's the consensus on how dinosaurs managed to get around the square-cube law? Many were huge and quite fast for their size. I've heard different theories on this, but what do most archeologists think? (Also, nice FG reference.) The concentration of oxygen in the atmosphere was much higher back in those days than it is now. It is also how those ginormous insects and 2 meter long centipedes were able to exist.
