Another thing that got a name change: the Issun region is now the Unova region. First time they've changed region names, to my mind.

Eh, it's a snooty-sounding name, so it works.

Eh, it's a snooty-sounding name, so it works. The only reason people are mad (More so on other sites then here) is because they didn't pick the fandom name. If he was called Snivy by the fans, and then they called him Smugleaf, the fans would be crapping on that name too.

Uhhh... doesn't really matter about the names, since we can nickname 'em whatever we want them to be.
But, still... Tepig? That's a pretty lame idea. I just hope that his evolution has a name similar to "Incinaboar" or "Hogcano"... which may sound lame as well.
And, I was hoping to still call the region Isshu.

Incinaboar would be THE MOST HARDCORE NAME. And I, too, wish that the region remained Isshu; I like that name better than Unova.

And, if any of you bother to watch that Macy's Thanksgiving Parade, keep an eye out for two giant dragons that might terrorize the floats. They will look like Reshiram and Zekrom, however. 'Cuz this'll be the first localized mention in any media.

I quickly came up with that theory, and it makes no sense. "Tepid" is a term for something that is lukewarm, and the Fire starters seem to have the most emphasis on their element in their names, which is contradictary.

Incinabor is cool, but in the comments on Kotaku, someone had a much better nickname for the final form of Tepig, Luchaboar, cause his final form looks like a wrestler, some what.
I'm gonna modify that a bit to keep to the fire theme, though. Lucharboar. Huh? Huh? It incorporates all 3 things about the final form's theme. Lucha as in his wrestler look, char as in fire, and boar as, well, he's a pig.

True, but while he's a fire type, he looks very timid compared to his evolutions, which get much bigger and angrier looking.

You know, as bad as Oshawott is, it has made Oshawott now kinda popular with the internet crowd thanks to the Revolver Oshawott meme. Previously, he had almost no love.
