Todd Grisham one time said he lived in a van down by the river on a recent episode of Smackdown. They really love the obscure references on that show.

You'll have plenty of time to live in a van down by the river, when you're LIVIN' IN A VAN DOWN BY THE RIVER!!!

i've never really been a chris farley fan, but that was some of his best work ever. I liked Beverly Hills Ninja and I loved his figure skating skit that he did on SNL. Living in a van may not be all that bad - if Trailer Park Boys has taught me anything.

His best work was the Chipandale thing with Patrick Swayze.

Foley crashing through the coffee table in his first sketch (with David Spade and Christina Applegate as the teens) was unintentional. Farley accidentally fell onto the table, which was an actual coffee table, not a prop that's meant to easily be broken, and broke it. This is one of the reasons why Spade and Applegate couldn't stop laughing.

I've always liked his skit as El Nino. That one was hilarious, too.

Yeah I always had a feeling that spot was an accident, but I never knew for sure. Good to see my feeling was right, then. You could also tell it wasn't intentional when Spade quickly sat up with a bit of a look of concern for Farley, but at the same time he couldn't stop laughing at how funny it was. And Farley sold it like a champ, he didn't awkwardly stop and break character or anything, he just kept going. I think that's why that skit is often considered a classic.
