I'm really not bothered in honesty, moved on from The Rock years ago (not that I was that big of a fan anyway).

The only thing that gets me is he can and will take time out to go to a UFC event while filming fast 5 but still nothing in regards to a wwe appearance , i mean usually what we hear is it's scheduling that prevents him from appearing in a wwe ring , but he can find the time to go to UFC come on Rocky don't piss in one ear and tell the other one it's raining. There's probably a difference in getting up, going to a three-hour show for fun and going home, compared to calling Vince McMahon, working out a deal, understanding the current happenings, getting involved in a storyline or understanding who he's interacting with and performing in the ring.

Yeah that's a bit of a difference in scheduling between showing up to watch something and showing up to potentially seriously injure yourself in a wrestling ring, especially when you have major rust.

The guy's moved on. No harm in that at all. If anything, outside of a HoF appearance eventually or a promo or something, it'd look kinda awkward with him there anyway; as he's GOT to have ring rust and him coming out and doing what he would be expected to do with the Rock persona would just feel out of date and shoehorned in. Sorta like Austin's last few appearances.

I feel the same way as some other people, where I really couldn't care less about The Rock right now, but I'd mark hard if he made a surprise appearance.

The longer he goes away from wrestling, the amount of exitement fans have for any appearence lessens.

The Rock is confirmed to possibly make a return , sometime in the future

I'd be excited if he came back, but like others here, I could care less.

You can take your hopes for The Rock's return.... shine them up real nice, turn them side ways, and stick them straight up your candy ass!

The rock was great in his time, but the landscape is really different now. Its like seeing Bret Hart now. Sure its cool, but it doesn't really fit in with the show.

It'd be great if he came back for a bit. I would be made up to see him on WWE TV again. But I hate the attitude that some people have taken towards him "owing the fans" or whatever. I really just don't agree with it. I don't think he owes us anything, but why promise things that you can't keep? Personally, I would mark when his music hit then probably realise half way through his promo that PG Rock would suck, and I genuinely think there are probably better talkers in WWE at the moment. I never thought The Rock was all that raunchy really, unless he was talking about Stephanie McMahon.
