Don't know if this has been discussed yet, but why did they make the Bragging Rights trophy look really crappy? It looked MUCH better before.

Yep. I didn't even catch that it said Bragging Rights on it until it was next to the ring. It's just a generic half-arsed trophy.

It looks like a plastic water fountain. It's certainly worth the risk of getting your head kicked in by 7 angry men.

I don't get why we are supposed to give a shit about a trophy which makes only 1-2 appearances.

I don't get why we are supposed to give a s*** about a trophy which makes only 1-2 appearances. It's actually been in Teddy Long's office all the time.

Being in Canada, I guess they wanted to dress it up like the Stanley Cup.
It would actually be a cool tradition to engrave the winning team's names on it every year.

Yeah it looked similar to the Stanley Cup... my guess is they dug the old king of the ring trophy out of storage

Its times like this I miss stuff like the Crockett Cup, where kayfabe winners would receive a huge cash prize. At least then it would provide a motivation for guys like Sheamus and Punk who I can't see caring about the whole brand thing that much.

They should really give the winning team's captain an incentive for leading their team to a win, maybe a future title shot or something?

Del Rio half-tried to kill Mysterio a few weeks ago and now they're on the same team?!

Any remaining members of the team in Elimination match get a title shot of their chosing. OR if it's one fall to a finish: Winning pinfall/submission gets a World Title shot (So there are 14 potential number 1 contenders in the match.
Would give them that little extra motivation.

Nowadays the average fan kinda thinks wrestlers make the same amount of money whether they win, lose or don't even show up. Whether thats true or not is besides the point, but that's how the average person see's it. I can't see a cash prize being any kind of selling point this day and age.

Man, am I the only one who really likes the concept of Bragging Rights? I don't care that it doesn't make sense. It's fun :B

Good old WWE illogic!
A superstar puts heated rivalries off to the side, to fight for a trophy that next year they may not have a claim to, if they switch shows.
Or the loser of the match, can get these same "Bragging Rights" next year even if they lost.
