I know it is a week or so old but Archer clotheslining Hawkins looked intentional. The distance between Masters and Hawkins was very far.
C-Hawk was justified.

Not exactly the Barber Shop Window, but whatever...Personally, I think Archer should've made the SD team at Bragging Rights instead of Tyler Reks.

Striker sold it off as Archer being hot headed. It's believable. Like, he REALLY wanted to hit his clothesline, so he unleashed on Hawkins just because he was in Archer's path.

I figure Hawkins messed up by not being close enough to Masters, but yeah, it works out anyway because of Archer's character. I'm just waiting to see if they somehow turn him face because of it... If he ever gets TV time again

I seriously can't look at Archer with the ever so trending speedo attire. And Hawkins, I liked Hawkins when he was tag teaming with Ryder, but Zack was the one I actually thoroughly got behind. Whether it be his WWWYKI on The Dirt Sheet, or because he was wearing a skull cap, either or.
But as for the clothesline... it wasn't at all justified. To my own eyes. Vance was frustrated, yes, and he went for the clothesline and missed. LOWERED HIS ARM, and than bulldozed Hawkins for the soon-to-be break-up of the team.
You wouldn't clothesline your partner and friend, a guy who you broke into the WWE with, trying to garner a contract. You and him together. For a month or however long they were doin' it.

Who really cares about either of these two weiners. I like both of 'em, so me I guess. Even if that clothesline spot looked a bit crappy.

It's funny, the entire Gatecrashers era came and went without me being acutely aware of it once.

They were a lot like the Rock n Rave infection Part II, only Hawkins is talented.

Matt Striker gave it to them once, and I think the internet just picked up on it. Then again, this is the same guy who called them the combination of "Hawkeye" Curt Hawkins and "American Psycho" Vance Archer. A bit wordy, if you ask me.

They were referred to as the Gatecrashers several times, and Vance has had the American Psycho nickname since ECW.
