Lanny Poffo on his Podcast the other day gave an update on Bobby Heenan's health. Heenan is now in hospital in Tampa in a coma unaware of anything. Poffo used the term on his last legs. Poor guy, he's been through so much. Edit : There is a report saying that he is not on his last legs, in hospital or in a coma. Until there is confirmation either way, I'm editing the thread title.

Didn't want to read this today, or any day really. Hopefully if this is the end Bobby doesn't suffer much.

Man, I've been worried about hearing this for a while. Really, really sad to hear, hopefully Brain goes quickly without anymore suffering.

Honestly as soon as I seen the title from the front page it said "Bobby Heenan on his l" I was hoping it would not say last legs. I hate to sound pessimistic but usually when people are in bad shape like Heenan and they go in a coma it is about over. Hopefully Heenan is the exception.

Thats awful to hear. Judging by recent photos it was inevitably going to happen within a year.
Hope he doesnt suffer and he knows how much he was appreciated by his fans.

That's a terrible shame. Poor Heenan.
Although, after everything he has been through, it may be for the best at this stage.
Cancer is a truly evil thing for getting him like it did and leading in to all his latest health issues.

The man has fought so very hard for a long time. As others have said, I just hope its short and painless.

It's sad, but it was inevitable. Still, doesn't take away from the fact that he's not long for this world, and he will be missed by friends, fans, and family.

I hope that WWE does an actual tribute show to the guy. Few guys deserve it more. He was such a huge part of their 80's success, both as an announcer and as a manager.

I have tears in my eyes as I type this. As a child, I, of course, hated the man because of what he did. As an adult, rewatching everything, I cannot believe how amazing he was. Just yesterday, I watched his single greatest performance, the 92 Rumble.
Get well Brain. You have thousands of fans pulling for you.

Horrible news. I've lost two friends to cancer this year, so I'm all too aware of how devastating it can be. I hope whatever time Bobby has left is as painless as it can be.
The Brain is truly one of the greatest of all time.

This is terrible. I always thought Heenan was one funny son of a bitch on commentary. I really hope he pulls through. All us Humanoids are pulling for him.

Recently been laughing along with my mate over a re-run of some of his commentary.
The Hogan vs Undertaker match when Undertaker cheated for the win and Gorilla Monsoon was going off it at the heels! Then Heenan said ''what happened? My monitor went out''. That is right up my alley, love commentary like that and really miss it.

The pro wrestling world will be a little less enjoyable without the Brain. If this is it for him, Bobby, you made countless people happy and you had one hell of a career.

As much as it pains me to say, he's been through so much throughout the last few years that I hope that this is it, if only to put an end to his suffering. Heenan doesn't deserve to be in this condition.
