Seriously... that theme of theirs is like a vacuum of which no sound can escape. I dunno if they are just that unover, or it's the music, but you can hear a pin drop when their theme hits.

I don't think that's really a fair comparison. Rob Conway was given time to talk and given wins over at least a couple of names for a few months. The Uso's randomly show up on Superstars with nothing to do. Of course no one is going to care.

Someone just made this thread like a day ago. Really? I must have missed it then. Studies have shown that the word "Uso" actually registers as "Ignore" to the human brain, so it's quite possible this natural reaction kicked in and you just didn't care enough to notice. Like everyone else.

Honestly, I didn't bother to look initially... why would I even think anyone else would be talking about Conway/The Usos?

Was there even enough of a pathetic pop to allow us to use the word "pop" in describing it?

Was there even enough of a pathetic pop to allow us to use the word "pop" in describing it? That was anti-pop... it was literally a vacuum.. cause the crowd was getting into the segment, then the Usos popped up and SILENCE hit.. even Superfly couldn't get a reaction after that.

Early in the feud too, soon after Matt returned.

I have never seen a crowd go so dead so quickly. You could almost see the excitement leaving the building. If someone's cell phone would have rang, we would have been able to hear the whole conversation.

Are you talking about his gimmick as a "Legend Killer" which was only exclusive to heat AND ON TOP OF THAT was going the likes of Koko B. Ware and (I think) Greg Valentine? There's no way that can of booking can get you marginally over. Rob Conway never had anything meaningful to do, dressed like a gay biker, and had a boring theme song. As far as The Usos go, I never have seen them in action, so I can't say. But if WWE tries to make them a legitimate tag team and still can't get heat, then maybe we can give their lack of overness some kind of nickname.

Knock the Conman all you like, but don't start hating on the greatest theme song of all time!

Sorry, I can't accept that. Conway followed both Jeff Hardy and Shawn Michaels and got no reaction. He actually cut a promo, got a reaction and the minute his theme played, nothing. You can't beat that pop.

Sir, you can insult Rob Conway to your hearts content. But the moment you dare try and claim that "Just Look At Me" is a boring song, you've crossed the line my good man. CROSSED THE LINE!

i watched wwe for the first time in a long time the other day, and they said the usos were samoans. why don't they put them in grass skirts and necklaces and have them walk around barefoot?

As I said in the other thread, I still thinks it's Tamina's fault. If she hadn't been so mindnumbingly awful in that first promo they might have gotten more chances to talk.

I actually quite like Tamina and wish she would do more in the Divas division. The thing with the Usos however is that the crowd doesn't know what to do with them. They are heels that don't do much dastardly stuff to be hated, and as noted they are Samoans that aren't especially big or tough or savage. They're just two mediocre wrestlers without much size to compensate.
