Vince,If you want me to do PR ,I am going to need a 401K and a 3 weeks paid vacation per year. This, plus I would be named Official Masseuse for the Divas.

Wrestling fans: Not your personal army. Seriously. That video shows why WWE is good, the Tribute to the Troops, Make a Wish, Celebs, and that's all fine and dandy. It didn't address why there's no off season, things like wellness, the ridiculous and tawdry moments, and other things. It didn't really address the complaints, so it failed.

The WWE draws a lot of negative press.
And it deserves every last bit of it.

I don't want to be a Negative Nelly, but it seems like they want us to forget all the truly terrible and tasteless things they've done in the past. Like we should forget Katie Vick, the Billy and Chuck wedding, the Sable/Nicole Bass lawsuits, and not to mention the steroid trials.

It's pretty...but it's not telling me anything I don't already know. Any negative criticism about negative things they do they get, they deserve.

Vince vs. God, Trish half-naked barking like a dog, Mae Young births a hand, exploitation of a beloved dead man, cartoonish leprechaun shenanigans...
How can we NOT stand up for them?

"HA HA, LOOK AT THEM DEFEND THEMSELVES FROM THE MEDIA TRYING TO STICK THEM ON THE LOWER PEDASTAL THEN THEY CURRENTLY ARE! HA HA, TV-PG IS SO STUPID, HOW DARE WWE TRY TO MAKE THEMSELVES LOOK GOOD! WHAT SORT OF COMPANY WOULD DO SOMETHING LIKE THAT ANYWAY? WWE IS SO DUMB! KATIE VICK! AM I EDGY YET?"
Thats what I'm getting from reading this thread. I know complaining about WWE is all we do on here, but jeez guys, give em some slack here. For something that you guys watch every week and claim to be fans of, some of you sure are going after them in here with all your pitchforks and flaming torches out.
In all honesty I think the argument of "Well sure WWE does alot for Make a Wish foundation but HHH simulated intercourse with a maniquin once in a 2 minute clip that has been long forgotten by anyone who isn't us, so it doesn't count!" is sort of pathetic.
(Yes, I just turned heel on the Crap)

(Yes, I just turned heel on the Crap) We support them with our time and with our money, often when the company does little to deserve it. Recently the content of the company has been dictated by the certain events of their ex CEO, and the fans had to take it. This is part of the reason why the WWE has been an overall disappointing and uninteresting product for the past two years, and now Mr. McMahon wants his fanbase to stand up to support this company that has essentially cast aside a loyal fanbase for a PG crowd and a Senate seat.

So Vince McMahon wants the Internet Wrestling Community to help him out by posting Youtube videos praising his company. Sure we'll help you Vince, but we have some demands. (Insert evil laugh)

If this was being done during the Attitude Era you would all be up in arms defending the product and screaming about the smear campaign conducted by people who know nothing about wrestling. WWE wasn't a public company during the majority of the 'Attitude Era' and they were a lot better off as far as I'm concerned.

I'm hoping this opens the door for a wrestling stand-up comedian gimmick.

This may be an unpopular opinion but I think that Vince should be able to freely show what is good about the company considering how the media mostly puts a negative spin on everything they do. If he wants to make this campaign to get more focus on the things that they do that benifits the community (Make a Wish etc) then i dont find it wrong or arrogant in any way. By no means am I saying all the tasteless things that Vince and the company has done over the years are put right by doing this, but there is two sides to every story i guess.

I'm fine with him putting on the website. I have a problem with him taking four minutes out of Raw that could be better spent on other things.
