I think he'll keep his gimmick but won't be as blatant about it, kind of like Goldust nowadays. In fact the two of them would make a cool team.
I wouldn't mind him getting Finlay's old spot on Smackdown or Superstars.

Hell yeah, although if he were to appear on TV, surely he needs a gimmick change? Not really. You can use the words "Porn Star" on TV PG (How I Met Your Mother, for example). It's not like it's rated G. You just wouldn't show it. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TV_Parental_GuidelinesYou can see what's allowed in each rating system there. The thing is though, WWE's interpretation of what they want to show on PG is vastly different. I guarantee you they would never even use the words "porn star" when they're TV-PG.

He's a solid talent but sort of a strange one to bring back yet again.
His TNA run did him no favors. Though he did beat Daniels.

I like everyone else respect his ability to work. I think he would make a great road agent, trainer etc. keep him off of tv though, because that run in tns was awful and very upsetting.

Val Venis is possibly the most unjustly underutilized talent in the last ten years in WWF/E.

Some people were saying he should have been World Champion. I disagree because his gimmick limited his potential (and in the RTC, he was merely a lackey of Steven Richards; though he could have gotten at least a match for the belt), and he wasn't going to surpass Austin, Rock, etc. However, he was vastly underrated, and could have used some more strong mileage in the midcard.
Rumors are, he'll come back tonight. Personally I'd wait until the Old-School Raw, but I'm definitely looking forward to seeing him back.
As for him being a porn star, maybe they'll use a term like "adult entertainer" or something similar.

Vince wanted him back to really juice up WWE Films lousy numbers.
He's going to finally make an official version of Land of the Rising Venis starring Val Venis!

Sources tell this reporter that he may be doing a political spoof character. Something tells me he debuts next monday, and is a "crazy liberal" and a media elitist who screws over nice ladies who deserve senate seats. Call me crazy. Call him "Dick Blewmenthal". That way they can keep a porn name intact, whilst still wasting their time with "getting revenge", to absolutely no one's benefit whatsoever. (ENIS 2.0) That'll show them.

Trainer, Agent, Active Talent, whatever they use him for he's a benefit to any company he's with.

I've just typed something that I don't think would fly with the 'No politics' rule, so let's just say I'd be very surprised if he did return as a political satire character - look up his real-life views on the matter.
