Is it me or have i missed something obvious.
It was stated "either barrett wins the title and cena is free, or orton wins or retains and then cena is fired."
I have a really bad feeling that he'll just disqualify orton and let the feud roll on a bit further, as he'll be neither fired or free, as i can't see either of the options actually happening.

I think barrett said, "if I do not win the title you're fired" so if orton retains in any way cena would be fired.

It was on the intro to raw, sounds to me like they're trying to give themselves an out here.

It's as simple as this:
If Barrett wins the title, Cena's free. If Barrett doesn't win the title, Cena's fired.
Simple, I believe. They've mentioned it in the promo as well, I believe.

Let's just say, if Cena is EVER going to turn heel, it's happening at Survivor Series.

Reminds me of Taker/Bret at SummerSlam 97, where if Taker retained the title, Shawn Michaels would never wrestle in the United States again. The only way he could was if Bret won.

According to the match preview on WWE.com, it's No DQ, No Countout.
They really ARE booked into a corner.

That was actually just if Shawn showed any favoritism to the Undertaker, he's never be allowed to wrestle in the US again. Of course, he did try to take Bret's head off with a steel chair. That really should have been enough to follow through with that threat, but oh well. That SummerSlam was in 1997... which would be well past Jim Cornette's 7-year-rule. I'm guessing Cena tries to take Barrett out, Wade ducks and Orton get's taken out, and Cena has to count the three for Barrett...

The only way I see this ending (well) involves Cena wearing a Nexus shirt under his ref uniform at Survivor Series. I think that's why they haven't had Wade force Cena to wear one yet.

So he screwed Barrett out of the title and kept him from beating down Orton so that he could help Barrett win the title and beat down Orton? That makes about as much sense as Vince's big plan being to befriend Austin and help him retain the WWF title so tha the could make him lose it to Undertaker.

My prediction is that Barrett wins the match, Cena's now free. He immediately beats down Barrett like he claimed he's going to, and then Miz comes out and wins the title off him. Cena keeps his job, and then he, Barrett, Orton and Miz can spend the next few months feuding amongst each other leading into Wrestlemania.
But Cena turning heel is fine, too. I just really don't see it happening. I mean, think of the children!
