Haha you guys really hate promos and backstage segments. We don't hate them. We just hate when there are 2 hours & 44+ minutes of them. That is a ridiculous amount. Normally I would totally agree with you, but TNA was coming fresh off of a PPV that wrapped up months of storylines and was busy setting up the entire upper mid-card in a new angle involving the whole company. I'm sure now that everything is established, we'll be back to a good balance.

Jay Lethal is such an exciting competitor that we did not feature him at all this week

Believe it or not, I'm happy with Fortune joining Immortal.
If TNA is going to make this work(That depends on the next few months), the lead face that takes Hogan and Bischoff out should not be a 62 year old man leading a bunch of stars and near stars. It also should not be Sting or Nash.
No, for this to work, Pope, or Lethal, or a freshly cemented face AJ needs to take down a stable that powerful. This storyline needs to build a new star.
Hard for me to think about with Russo around, but tonight was a good start.

So, Ms. AnonymousBrookemacher lasted all of, what, 2 weeks being in charge of the Knockouts?
And strangely enough, it was the most solidly booked thing going on in TNA this month.

I just lost the feed for Spike 5 minutes before the end of ReAction. That's like mercy killing. The difuser couldn't take Lethal having his hair done anymore.

Kurt Angle Motor City Machine Guns ? If I had just started watching tonight, I would think that the show is basically: Abyss, Bischoff, Hogan, Jarrett, Hardy, Flair, Roode, Storm, Williams, Styles, Morgan, and Kazarian, maybe Gunner and Murphy vs. Samoa Joe, Kurt Angle, RVD, Anderson Also there's some Jersey Shore knockoffs and a couple of women screaming at each other. Yeah that's pretty much exactly what I got. Only I'd say you can add Pope as the fifth guy on the TNA side. So who does leave on the roster that's NOT involved in this angle? Motor City Machineguns Jay Lethal Eric Young & Orlando Jordan EV2.0 & Brian Kendrick Generation Me Ink Inc Team 3D London Brawling Anyone else?

I'm going to say this perfectly slowly for the people who either A) enjoyed this show or B) thought it was okay to have very little wrestling on the program. YES, months of stupid, no sense storyline needed to be told. And... Eric Bischoff basically did that within the first fifteen minutes of the iMPACT program. A match that lasted two minutes, if that, and ended in a DQ. A match that wasn't a match. The ME switched over to Reaction, so some people didn't get to finish seeing it. iMPACT had, what, five minutes of wrestling on the program? That is worse than Raw. Raw had to continue the Nexus/Cena story, and they did, but they also had matches that were matches and went to at least six minutes. ----------------------------------- I did enjoy Bischoff's hand gettin' squeezed by Ken Anderson... Anderson. I did enjoy laughing at Jeff's attempt at a heel promo, trying to mix in Raven and song lyrics it felt like, which ended up stupid. Which allowed more comedic antics from me to happen. Besides that, everything else beside the first fifteen minutes was a waste. IMO.

Truthfully, I didn't mind any of the talking. 8 months of storyline had to be explained and I wasn't bored by most of it. If not for checking the boards, I wouldn't have even thought about the lack of wrestling. I didn't mind it for one night.

I enjoyed tonight's episode. Whether it's with wrestling or promos, all I care about is that TNA entertains me... and, once again, they did just that.

Yeah, as long as it's only 1 night & they better have more than 6 min. of wrestling on Impact next week.

TNA needs to understand that they have a show that's completely dedicated to getting the storylines over. Knowing that, they need to put WRESTLING on the WRESTLING show. That's what draws people in. Not that hard to figure out. They need to display their product on the A show, the show people actually watch. 2 hours of talking is off-putting, especially when the name of the promotion is Total Nonstop ACTION!

My absolute favorite part, and it got a Huge laugh out of me (for some reason..) was the backstage segment with Hogan, Eric, and Dixie:
"You want me to look you in the eye?................I screwed you out of your company!" I don't know why, but that provided the laWlz for me.

My favorite part was in that same segment, when Dixie was all pissed off and Bischoff is sitting there with a huge smug smile and cigar in his mouth, while using his phone to record her yelling at Hulk

And i'm a wrestling fan. As a writer personaly, I wanted all the plot holes explained in something i've been watching since January 4! lol Maybe it's just the geek in me, but I wanted it to be resolved, explained, I wanted to see consequences to everything we've seen. I wanted them to tell me a story. I wasn't interested in say having MCMG vs Gen Me tonight. TNA has been guilty of talking too much in the past. But this show was an exception because it needed to happen.
