I think the only way to somewhat salvage this 30,000th nWo rehash is to have a heel Jeff Hardy, Abyss, and some under-utilized talent (maybe Gen Me?) completely turn on Hogan, Bischoff, Flair, and Jarrett and form their own unstoppable (cringe as I say it)...emo-goth stable with Hardy as the leader. So they as heels turn on the older heels, and eliminate them from the picture, dismantling the Immortals and Fourtune in the process. And start some sort of new regime while the rest of the young roster has to rethink strategy. What do you think? I don't know how great that'd be to actually see but it would at least be better than this trash.

Disagree. If only, because I really don't think Jeff can carry a stable on his own. What's making this work, is you've got a lot of fluff surrounding Hardy to compensate for his lack of mic skills.

Jeff Hardy doesn't have the mic skills required to lead a stable, let alone a stable full of guys who also have no mic skills.

This sounds like it would make things even more confusing.

Dixie Carter wakes up and finds Patrick Duffy in the shower... Dixie: I just had a weird dream. I dreamt that Jeff Hardy turned heel and joined up with Hogan and Eric Bischoff and Abyss and they were actually "They", and then Fortune joined up with They Immortals and everyone was confused in TNA. Duffy: It's okay, it was only a dream. *turns on TV, finds Impact with everything Dixie mentioned on-screen right now* Dixie:

Heh, that's funny....I just dropped a similar idea in the "Booking for 6 Months" thread, and I also think this would be a good idea. A bigger and badder stable to end Hogan/Bischoff/Jarrett/ect's little NWO rehash party. It'd be different to see the "NWO/4 Horsement" group become the Hunted for once. BTW, I wasn't saying anyone stole anyone's idea.....I just thought it was interesting that you and I were thinking of a similar thing....and something that would SURE as heck be more interesting than NWO Version 5.0.

I still can't believe the stupidity of having Fortune join up. Hogan and Flair managing rival stables with Hardy vs Flair as the headlining feud!??!?!

I think at this point the best way for this to play out is for members of Fourtune to get fed up with Immortal hogging the spotlight and then infight leading to Immortal losing out and breaking up and Fourtune taking the top spot.
They'd have to book Fortune as face though. That way when its all done guys like Anderson and RVD can turn heel (their strengths) and Hardy(s) can remain heel to take on Fourtune (minus williams and morgan).

Oh, I think we'll have Anderson turn at some point and join The Immortals. But at this point they are basically locked in to RVD as the top face going for retribution against the men who had him brutally attacked and stripped of the title. There is no storyline way to turn him without it making zero sense.
As far as how to blow it off, it's really pretty simple. Build the Immortals/Fortune faction up a ton, and then finally have a huge PPV blowoff where RVD takes down Hardy for the belt, Angle defeats Jarrett for control of TNA, etc. Then it's bye bye for Hogan and Bischoff.

The main problem with your idea is that it leads to more Abyss in the main angle of the company and even more Abyss on my screen!

Said this in another thread, and some people expanded on it. Samoa Joe starts a stable with Pope and a couple other guys, calls themselves the Spartans, and bottlenecks the Immortals coming down the ramp, linking chairs and whacking away at them with Singapore canes. Then after three episodes someone tells the Immortals that the other entrance ramp was never totally removed, and you can still get into the Impact zone that way, so the Spartans get surrounded by the Immortals, and get beat down and sent to the hospital.

Well the best way would have been for Morgan and Williams to defect from Fourtune and have the core 4 of Fourtune face off against the Immortals. But now that all of Fourtune is in with the Immortals the only way you could salvage this Angle is to have Angle, Pope, Joe, Lethal, Anderson and Sting if he comes back form an alliance against the immortals and feud with them that way.
Yeah the Immortals is pretty much a 12 or so man stable with a good load of talent but if you book Pope, Joe, and Lethal as the TNA originals banding together with the vets Angle, Anderson, and Sting to save TNA's soul (I would have put RVD in there but I think RVD gets taken out by the immortals to make the immortals look stronger) they could pose a serious threat (Throw in the MCMG's if you need more numbers).
All in all its a Russo faction war that is only going to work if Russo makes the faces look strong which he never does this screams MEM all over again only with out the good start to it.

Well, the best possible storyline is for everyone in the stable to be completely in love with each other.
Then the episode of Impact could be called, "My Immortals"

iMPACT zone is over run by zombies.
Immortal does a face turn to defeat them.
Immortal goes on to become the greatest face stable in the history of time.

WCW, what else can The Immortals do to RVD that hasn't already been done? They already had Abyss try to kill him with a board of nails. Short of bringing a shotgun to the arena and blowing his brains out, I'd think he would be back again.
By the way, I just realized that there was in fact a change on the Oct. 7 Impact. That was when Dixie naively signed over the company to Bischoff.
