I regularly watched TNA's FSN show, but I can't seem to remember how long the time limits were for the show. I recall that there were different times for exhibition matches and title matches, though. Can anyone help here? I've tried Googling it but can't find the answer.

Wasn't it 10 for a regular match, and up to 20 for a title match? I can't remember either, off the top of my head.

Since your question has already been answered, I just want to say I loved the time-limit had by TNA during its FSN days. I only remember one or two matches ever going to a time-limit, and then having whoever the NWA rep. was at the time came down and made a decision. Actually, I really like the TNA on FSN days.

Agreed on all points. The whole FSN box at the top of the screen and the scrolling news at the bottom gave it a realistic feel. It felt like an actual sporting event, which was great.

I miss this TNA. It presented itself as something different, and it worked.

I remember one time when Mike Tenay held a split-screen interview with Jeff Jarrett and Kevin Nash that looked like something you'd see on...well, whatever sports news program they show on FSN.

I liked it. It made it look more legitimately which is something wrestling has been missing for a long time.

Yeah I would love to see TNA go for a legit sports feel again. It feel too much like the WWE's product since they went on Spike (Even when they were awesomely booked that 1st year they still had a more sports entertainment feel presentation wise).
FSN days were way ahead of their time. Very innovative and forward thinking.

TNA on FSN was my favorite period of watching TNA. I remember everyone saying how it was better than WWE and I waited about 2 years to finally see it. Then I finally saw it and it was the first time I had ever seen guys do ridiculous aerial moves and being in awe.

Did they ever reach the 10 minute time limit in a match? I always remember Tenay saying that Larry Zbyszko of the championship committee would declare a winner if time expired. However, I never remember it actually happening.

However, I never remember it actually happening. Yes I remember it happening once. I forget who was in it (Sabin or Daniels or someone) but I know it happened once. Always exciting to watch two guys wrestle with random shots of Larry Zybysko watching on a monitor in the back. Actually the show wasn't too bad, although the format got too predictable after a while (an opening match, four squashes, and a main event). They did change things up sometimes. They even had an NWA title match on there one time so that was fun. Overall it did what it needed to, that being show what TNA was about, as well as hype the weekly (and then monthly) PPVs.

I miss this TNA. It presented itself as something different, and it worked. I agree. Whenever TNA does things differently, people seem to like it. I do wish they would bring this back. It actually gives a kayfabe reason for knowing how many matches will fit on a show, and when there is a draw it's a big deal. Nowadays, because there aren't usually time limits, when they announce one it goes to a draw.

However, I never remember it actually happening. IIRC it happened at least 2 times. I used to watch the TNA on FSN show while I was at work. I was lucky enough to have a tv and cable in my office. But lots of time I wouldn't get to see the entire show.

Then I finally saw it and it was the first time I had ever seen guys do ridiculous aerial moves and being in awe. The first TNA match I ever saw was Elix Skipper vs. Mikey Batts. All it took was Skipper's rope-walk hurricanrana to hook me in.
