I understand that they are not running an impact this week because they feared bad ratings against the football.
However they could be shooting themselves in the foot by skippping this weeks impact, not only will they lose momentum, but on a personal level I couldn't be bothered to wait nearly two weeks to find out the aftermath from the PPV so I have read the spoilers. This means I have no reason to watch the impact show on the 16th, I wonder how many other people have done this too?
Should TNA have just taken the ratings hit this week in order to not negatively affect future shows?

I think it's natural to assume ratings will take a hit, but I don't think it'll be anything significant, personally.

I predict they will get around a 1.0 .
The thing about TNA is that they have a loyal fanbase (unless they're go up against RAW) and that 1.0 - 1.1 audience will almost always watch.
So I doubt it'll affect things too much

If they were so worried, this could have been the perfect opportunity to put together a "best of" type of show, advertise the hell out of it and possibly draw in some new viewers. Ah hindsight, you old devil, you.

I'm interested in what the ratings will be next week when Impact doesn't show anything.

I'm interested in what the ratings will be next week when Impact doesn't show anything. I assure you it will not be a 1.1. No chance in hell
