Damn I have all the seasons on Itunes but I might have to pick this up just for all the extras.

It's missing Back to Earth, so it's not all the episodes. But still a great deal.
My wife is a huge Red Dwarf fan and she is most upset about the price, seeing as she bought it years ago and paid $170.

It doesn't say whether it's the original or remastered version, otherwise I might consider it. I really didn't like the remastered version with the new Dwarf model.

If it's from the same collection that I have my Seasons 1 & 2, then you have nothing to worry about. I really, really want to get this. Especially since it's a today-only deal, it seems. But guilt of financial responsibility is gnawing at me.

You get the 6 brilliant seasons. Worth that amount thrice over. Seasons 1-6 are some of the finest TV ever produced.

That's sweet, I'm just in the middle of re-watching Red Dwarf on Netflix. Just finished Series 3 today

My wife is a huge Red Dwarf fan and she is most upset about the price, seeing as she bought it years ago and paid $170. Many would say that's a huge bonus. I have all of these, the UK editions, they are fantastic DVDs, the commentaries are great, the documentaries are great, the whole thing is just amazing.

Haven't heard anything bad so far from you guys. Screw it, I'll order it. (Sometimes I hate being so damn cheap, should I have even needed to think about it?)

Please start at the start, don't jump into season 7 and 8 as you will never open the other DVD's ever again.

I agree I loved this show with a passion, and although I could stomach the last two seasons, adding Back To Earth to the mix just kills you a little. I mean WTF happened...
My favorite season by far was season 1. Although I liked the new format in a lot of ways, I still wish we had more season 1 style seasons. Season 2 took a long while to grew on me. After that it bell curved, and just tanked off the charts with Back to Earth.

Good choice in ordering it. Maybe some of the best commentaries EVER recorded for a show.
(Chris Barrie at the end of "Ouroborus", the first Rimmer-less episode) "Well guys, you pulled out all the stops and nearly pulled it off!"
PS-The documentaries for each season are pretty awesome as well.

I would say Series 1-6 is the "Complete Collection" but that's just me being a raging ball of anger towards the last two.
Does anyone know if the PS3's DVD player is multi-region? Because I'd far rather have proper DVD cases than the Photo Album version we get here. It's a big A4 box with the discs put in durable, long-lasting...
...Paper slots. I really hate DVD box sets like that.
