I just sneezed and now my neck hurts and my hands are tingly and barely work...that can't be normal, right?

I got a stinger back in college ... and ever since then, a giant sneeze will cause that in me. I was told there was nothing I can do about it. I can't even try and hold in the sneeze, cause if it is big enough it will feel the same regardless...

Not quite sure... I mean, I got some back problems, and one certain days when I sneeze I feel like my back just exploded. On more normal days, I kinda get a sore throat if the sneeze is strong.

Yes, that happens to me sometimes. Dunno if it's anything to worry about, as I generally forget about a while later. Oddly, it reminds me of the extreme pain I'm sometimes in after drinking alcohol too quickly, especially if I haven't drunk any in a while. It's quite peculiar.

Sneezing does that to me on occasion. Not sure if it's normal but it seems normal enough I suppose.

I get the hand tingling sensation too. My kidneys and the small of my back hurt when I have a particularly big sneeze as well.

Yeah when you have violent sneezes you have to be careful about whiplash.

Having a TBI probably doesn't help either.

I know that sneezing during a coughing fit makes you feel like shit

Whenever I'm about to come down with a cold, the day before the usual symptoms (stuffed nose, coughing a storm up, etc) start up, I usually have a day or two of sneezing that preludes it, and those sneezes tend to feel like somebody took a baseball bat to all of my joints and my neck.
Plus they're really loud and can happen 2-3 times in a row, so it can really hurt.

Yeah, when you sneeze, it comes out at like 40 mph, maybe even more. And, you can actually throw out your back with a big enough sneeze. It happened to Sammy Sosa in 2004.

did something (never went to a doctor so I don't know if it was a pull/sprain/strain/whatever) to a muscle in my shoulder/back area a few months back. now whenever I sneeze I get this really sharp pain down my back. it's improving because it doesn't happen EVERY time I sneeze but it's close.

Sometimes. It doesn't hurt physically but I get numb, tingrly, and my limbs feel heavy for a little while. It's a big annoyance when it happens.

It would be good if we could hold sneezes in like we can with farts. Would probably need nose sphincters though, that would just look weird.
