Well, more than one thing...like, how is it on AMC, when AMC stands for American Movie Classics? But more importantly, when Patrick Swayze was fighting the dude in denim before ripping his throat out, denim dude pulled a gun from his boot and said "I'm gonna kill you the old-fashioned way." Wouldn't the hand-to-hand fight be the old-fashioned way, and the gun be something else?

This is actually something else I wanted to discuss...the zenlike wisdom of Dalton. He gives us that gem, along with: "Nobody ever wins a fight." "You can be the biggest guy in the world, but you smash his knee, he'll drop like a stone." "Be nice, until it's time to not be nice."

Wow, I've never noticed that because my attention in that exchange is always fixated on the guy's remark that "I used to f*** guys like you in prison!"... best non-sequitor ever. Do they leave that in the AMC version?

I heard a rumor that on the set of "Road House" that the testosterone-fueled machismo of Patrick Swayze and Sam Elliott on camera simultaneously was so intense, that it nearly ripped a hole in the space time continuum and almost ended life on Earth.
