Breaking news from the NFL. Starting with week fifteen and continuing through the Super Bowl, each team will wear this patch on their jerseys. Actually, that's not true. It just seems that way from watching the first 30 minutes of Monday Night Countdown.

The Jets stregnth coach absolutely should have been fired for his stunt yesterday. The damndest thing about that is, if you watch the replay, had Sal Alosi not tripped Nolan Carroll, one of the other three guys on the Jets sideline next to Alosi would have. Check it out: At the 0:27 mark, you clearly see the three men standing to Alosi's right all slightly turn their left sides in to try to catch Carroll.

Sorry to double post a video but that is bloody pathetic. What was the guy trying to acheive?

Wow, I stepped away for the afternoon and missed the final confirmation that Favre is gone. Also from reading the last thread, I can't help but laugh. EVERY time Brett has "retired", ESPN has gone overboard in treating him like he just died. Back in the Summer when there was no confirmation what so ever, they canceled all of their afternoon programing to show specials and retrospectives of him for 5 hours. Then the next day it was all for nothing.
Pretty sure we've all seen everything Brett has ever done, ever. EVER. I don't think there's much from this season that needs to be inserted in those highlights, short of one game. Just spare us. We've seen Brett's non-death funeral 4 times already. Let us watch the rest of the season and playoffs in peace ESPN.

Giants coverage is soft like a soft thing That's a good thing. ;D Does anyone live in the area for the game? How's it going? If it helps I'm half Norwegian....though I'm a Packer backer, I have a soft spot for Vikings. How is TJ doing?
