Am I the only one watching this, especially where he's basically begging with the doctor to do something so he can wrestle one more time and the doctor is flat out telling him "If you do, the consequences are steep." and feeling very depressed? He basically tells Hogan: "You'll need three operations, you won't survive the third."
Hogan, brother, if you don't stop, you are going to DIE. It's wonderful that you've found a new life after Linda, but man, I'd rather have a living man then just memories.

This is why I hate people trashing Hogan. He is the greatest of all time. He's the reason I got so involved in wrestling. He's the guy I looked up to as a kid. It would have been absolutely devastating if he committed suicide, in my opinion that would be the worst death in professional wrestling. Worse than Vince, worse than HBK, worse than anyone. You can go ahead and rag on the guy all you want, but would anybody else in his day have been able to sell out arenas and draw that much money? Would WCW, and the nwo for that matter, have been anything if not for him turning heel and selling out arenas well into his 40's?
I personally still feel terrible for Hulk. He's the greatest ever, yet his back is literally crumbling, his wife took him for everything he's got, and he used all his money trying to help his kids. I'm just glad he's seemingly moved on in life, because I could just never imagine a man like that end up like Dynamite Kid and be wheelchair bound.

Indeed, love him now or hate him Hogan really (for people in their mid-20s' & older) was the guy people in our generation grew up watching & idolizing. Hogan was the Cena of the 1980s' to mid-1990s'. Hogan was the man who, along with Vince, took the first major steps in the process that turned wrestling from an often hand to mouth regional enity into the international cultural phenomenon we know & love today. And for those things I will always admire Hogan & cherish the childhood memories he gave me.

It got spent on houses, cars, vacations, and god knows what else. It was his reckless son who got his best friend brain dead. Hogan had an iron grip on "his spot" for about 2 decades and has squandered a great fortune. HBK doesnt have to go to Dixie with his hat in his hand asking for a handout. I loved Hulk as a child, I loved Hulk in the nWo, I was glad to see him back in WWE for all his different stints. I admire all that he accomplished but I dont feel sorry for him. He could have stopped a long time ago but he didnt. The same goes for Flair and I am a HUGE Flair mark. They are 2 of the best of all time but they arent perfect. This was a sad documentary for several reasons and I do wish Hulk the best but he has created this living hell for himself.

He encouraged his gold digging wife to take him for everything?

I still however feel sorry for the guy. Just remember granting mercy to one who does not deserve it, says more about the granter than it does the grantee.

I find it amusing that the lyrics to "Real American" are applicable to Hulk's recent troubles.
When it comes crashing down and it hurts inside you've got to take a stand there's nowhere else to hide
I too got into wrestling due to the Hulkster, hopefully he can have a long and happy life from here on out.

This show is depressing. I guess it's supposed to be, but I feel for him. Their was no way he could have foreseen this happening.
