That would be genius. Have him come out with the other ECW guys and protest women's wrestling while demanding to see big'uns instead, and end every episode of Impact with Beulah dragging him off to bed while he tries in vain to get away. Tommy Dreamer forming NO MA'AM (Kendrick, EY maybe, I don't know who else) would probably be the best thing he's done since his feud with Raven. Don't forget about constantly mentioning and reliving the highlight of his life: being ECW World Champion for 30 minutes.

I don't exactly understand why Dreamer is still hanging around in TNA. He really ought to simply drift into some sort of backstage managerial role. Right now he's just making himself look bad in an incoherent feud with Rhino and dragging RVD down in the process as well.

As a basic story idea :"former hardcore legend from years back can't come to terms with the fact that his world has now gone, his time has passed and one by one his friends are leaving the business" it's actually gold, if not overly melodramatic.
Handled by TNA's writers though, it's been stretched out for too long without being given any real direction.
They have a Pay Per View called "Final Resolution" for goodness' sake. If they had worked the storyline backwards from this upcoming event; Dreamer gets fired/retires in what is billed as "the end of hardcore" then booked up to that, with EV2 slowly getting fired off, then they could have made it worthwhile.
Instead like so many stories, it gets bogged down in the "dramatic possibilities" of the idea and creeps on until (whatever the next PPV happens to be) when they try and milk it for a payoff.

It seems every time Tommy Dreamer is on the screen, he's whining, pandering, and being one of the dumbest babyfaces ever. Last night on iMPACT, he beats Rhino, cuts the same crappy promo he always does about how they're out there for the fans, offers a hug, then Rhino predictably turns on him. It's pathetic. Anybody else really not want to see Tommy Dreamer anymore? I respect everything he's done for the business, and think he could do a lot of good for TNA backstage. Aside from his "I Quit" match with A.J. Styles, he really hasn't done anything that great in TNA. I disagree.....I don't think the problem is Dreamer.....I think it's how he's being booked. Once again, Russo and the gang book people based on their personal opinions of the person, rather than what he could contribute. Dreamer should be a major part of the Face faction that is slowly forming.....basically being one of the few veterans that are actually doing the right thing, and helping to make new stars.

I want to see Tommy Dreamer in TNA, I just don't want to see THIS Tommy dreamer. He needs to lose the plot and just SNAP one day, and stop whining and hugging.

He's become another one of those guys that are getting up there in age, and could probably contribute much more behind the scenes than on-screen.

While I was watching the match between Dreamer and Rhino all i could think was "When are these guys gonna go away?" and "Why are they still employed?"

Even the Rhino angle could theoretically work if Rhino didn't come off like the more sympathetic babyface. Let's face it, the whole "You Sold Out" stuff was stupid and sucked to begin with and Rhino's counter of "Hey, are you paying my bills or feeding my family?" is 100% correct. The economy has changed for the worse since guys like Dreamer blathered about people selling out in the much more prosperous 1990s.
RVD's promo on Reaction hinted at a better direction that this angle could go. By discussing the fact that Rhino broke his leg in early 2000, which cost him the ECW TV title, they went a long way to note that these guys aren't really all that buddy buddy. As in these former ECW guys are lumped into factions, but deep down they still have deep resentment for each other going back a decade or more.
Rhino reminds me of Robert Ryan's character in The Wild Bunch right now, having to sell out his former pals to maintain his own well being and being morally conflicted. Of course, Russo would probably view The Wild Bunch as nothing more than a violent Peckinpah western.

Yes. He should go far away from the wrestling ring.
He has to realize that his company (ECW) is dead and buried. Stop trying to bring it back, stop having reunion show's, it's over. Most of the guy's or overwieght, pycho's or have no clue what the hell is going on. I wish I never saw Dreamer in TNA, becase h'es just making an ass of himself there. He should'nt be on televsion anymore.
Do you really think Sandman is in the market, do you really think Ball Mahoney is getting called to wrestle at other promotion's. I don't.
Watch in 2012:
ROH presents Harcore Revival: The Reunion.
Tommy Dreamer, please go away.

I love Tommy Dreamer, but creative should've killed off EV2 quicker and gave Tommy something more sensical to do;I think he can still pull out a good match when needed, but he's in a dumb angle that takes too much time out of the program.

To our luck, Tommy Dreamer will pull a worked shoot on the next episode of either Impact or Reaction where he reads this entire thread, before crying and saying that he respects our forums and that we give our blood, sweat and tears into our posts.
Then he'll thank Dixie.

I've personally been asking if Tommy Dreamer can go away for at least 4 or 5 years now
