It seems every time Tommy Dreamer is on the screen, he's whining, pandering, and being one of the dumbest babyfaces ever. Last night on iMPACT, he beats Rhino, cuts the same crappy promo he always does about how they're out there for the fans, offers a hug, then Rhino predictably turns on him. It's pathetic.
Anybody else really not want to see Tommy Dreamer anymore? I respect everything he's done for the business, and think he could do a lot of good for TNA backstage. Aside from his "I Quit" match with A.J. Styles, he really hasn't done anything that great in TNA.

yeah, nothing he did last night got me excited to see him in another match. And the sad thing is, I like Tommy Dreamer. I think he's a cool guy.

I enjoyed him for many years. I don't really need to enjoy him anymore, because he can only go in a VERY specific type of match, and you can't have that match over and over because the impact is lessened each time. Time for guys like him and Raven to go behind the curtain and book.
His match with AJ Styles is in my top 5 or 10 of the year, though

I don't know. It's hard for me to objectively say they need to get rid of him because I like Dreamer a lot. It's also hard for me to say they need to get rid of anyone because they're so creatively bankrupt that it's not usually the fault of the performers when something goes bad. The roster, I feel for as bad as TNA gets, they all do a pretty serviceable job with what they're given.

Remember when Dreamer was the Innovator of Violence?
What happened to that guy? He was never this pathetic and "aw, shucks-y," even on WWECW.

I think he needs to be retired by Fortune in a match like they did with Raven and Sabu

I think Tommy Dreamer's big problem is he's trying so hard to be that "I respect the business" kind of guy. From what I've read about it, (I don't watch Impact anymore.) he really seems to be phoning it in these days. My opinion of course

I always liked the guy and was disappointed when he left WWE, but yeah, I'm completely sick of him in TNA.

He was about to after making another patented Dreamer speech. I think Rhino spearing him through a table stopped him from crying.

honestly the only thing I wanted to see Dreamer do in TNA was the obligatory Raven/Dreamer match and I loved the Raven promo before the match

The time they give to EV2 on a weekly basis could be used for wrestlers with more upside, like the X-ies. We've had enough of the star players for the Orlando Geezers & their decade-old drama.

Bah. I love Tommy Dreamer. It was kinda sad though, him cutting yet another promo, being all buddy buddy, and about respect, it's too much. Dreamer is a great talent though. I wish they would have kept Raven and had a Raven/Dreamer team to add to the tag team division. That's one thing I don't like about the Team 3D thing, is you have two tag team guys as singles, taking up precious tv time to feud with each other, instead of feuding with other people. Brother Ray is an epic promo man, and they're still a great team. If they were gonna stick around, and since it seems they are, I wish they would have stayed together as a team.
So with adding Dreamer and Raven as a team who kinda get along, but kinda don't, they could potentially add to the tag team division and be a team with good chemistry. I thought of this from a story they told where Dreamer wanted to do a spot where he swung down on a rope like a pirate to attack his opponent, and Raven actually jumped him from behind so he could do the spot because he thought it was so cool.

I said it a few months back, Tommy Dreamer is the Al Bundy of pro wrestling. That would be genius. Have him come out with the other ECW guys and protest women's wrestling while demanding to see big'uns instead, and end every episode of Impact with Beulah dragging him off to bed while he tries in vain to get away.

Tommy Dreamer forming NO MA'AM (Kendrick, EY maybe, I don't know who else) would probably be the best thing he's done since his feud with Raven.
