Robbie vs Lethal was just there, barley held my attention.
The knockouts match was really good, I loved the brawling at the end and I'm looking forward to the ensuing fued. Nice to see a knockout fued that is not about the title.
MCMGs v 3D was a GREAT match. If this is really their last match it was a fitting end and a reminder of just what they can do, and showed just how amazing the MCMGS are and how valuable they are to TNA. The crowd reaction to this match was amazing and a testement to both teams that this was the loudest the crowd wa sall night.
RVD v Dreamer felt like a hardcore match in slow motion.
EV2 v 4chan happened and Sabu got fired.
Joe v Jarrett didn;t hold my attention, which is a shame as I thinkt he build up has been good.
Pope and Absyss was much like joe v jarrett
Morgan v Hardy was dull
Overall it was worth watching the knockouts match and definatly the MCMGs v 3D match, especially if it really is the Dudleys last match

I find it surreal that the PPV that has entertained me the most this year from TNA, was actually Hardcore Justice. I'm not saying it was the best, or even that it had the best match(es), but in context, as a one-off ECW tribute show, I found it the most entertaining.

not bad...I actually like the shore people, am I the only one? I've actually accepted him. I've never seen the Jersey Shore and I really don't care about it, but Robbie E cracks me up with the fist pump, kinda like Disco Inferno and his stupid disco dance.

The Shore character doesn't bother me so much either. A lot like the Zack Ryder or Disco character - he's a goofy heel. If things in TNA were much better I might nitpick at a few things, but with the state of things - The Shore is actually the best booked thing on the show right now.

Add a hot mess + the drizzling shits and you'd have a show I'd have rather watched instead of Turning Point.

It was basically average. MCMG / 3d and the knockout match were pretty good, everything else was decent. Nothing special happened, but nothing horrible either.

I didn't watch it, but from the way the hosts of Live Audio Wrestling reviewed it, they made it seem like a possible candidate for PPV of the year (only soured by the main event).

I thought it was bland, but not bad. I didnt think there was anything that was necessarily 'bad' about the show at all, just a lot of 'average' stuff.

not bad...I actually like the shore people, am I the only one? Nope. I love the gimmick. Regarding the ppv though, I'm glad to see that I wasn't the only one that thought the show felt weird and completely unlike a PPV. I was watching it earlier and thinking to myself that it was pretty much a bad 3 hour Impact. Not good TNA, not good.

Tag match well worth it, Knockouts entertaining brawl, the rest is a whole lotta meh.
Nothing I'd really say was bad, but sometimes being rather solid yet dull is worse than at least being bad in an entertaining way (and both aren't as good as being actually good, of course).

The whole event made me think of something Lance Storm posted a month ago; www.stormwrestling.com/100510.htmlThis PPV to me was the epitome of Lance's comments. We had (possibly) two angles going into the whole thing; Guns vs 3D and EV2 vs Fortune. Even the EV2 match was sketchy at best as an angle; we knew that IF EV2 lost the match then SOMEONE would get fired, but it's not like we were told beforehand WHO would be fired. So they expected us to pay to see a match where, ultimately, the purpose of that match didn't resolve anything, it simply moved the story on to the next Impact (the story being that Fortune will run rough shod over anyone in their path and that there's still a mole in EV2). Lance doesn't watch TNA now of course, yet his comments above to me are exactly why recent TNA PPV's have felt so lacklustre. There hasn't really been any decent blowoffs to feuds or resolutions, arguably since Angle/Anderson earlier in the year. Aside from the great matches these two put on, it surely isn't a coincidence that the whole feud has been a standout for the company in 2010? We got a well booked series of matches that ultimately ended, and ended with a match whereby the fans WANTED to see Kurt kick Anderson's ass, and were prepared to pay to watch it happen. PPV's should be to wrestling (which is ongoing) comparable to season finales in tv drama (which aren't ongoing, and are usually delivered to us in blocks, with a new story arc each year, the finale tying up most loose ends while possibly leaving the odd question unanswered to make us hungry for the next season). TNA doesn't seem to understand that just because you have a continuous, ongoing series, this doesn't mean you should book continuous ongoing stories. Far too many times, a promising storyline is left to dwindle to nothing because it becomes evident that the writers, while coming up with a beginning for it, simply gave no thought to how they were going to END it. Until they start writing stories and booking matches that are designed to give people closure rather than to ensure that certain people get their allotted TV time, we'll end up with PPVs like Turning Point. Not a bad show, but not a particularly GOOD one either, and certainly not one that fans feel they cannot miss.

It's not as bad as people were making it out to be. I agree. In my opinion there were two good matches. TNA decided to use this ppv to buildheat for immortal/fourtune. You obviously cant have heels winning clean, and you also obviously can't have faces winning clean straght after the immortal angle stareted, before sufficient heat has been built up. I have no problems with the booking of Turning point.
