I always hated the slingshot. The most silly and unrealistic move ever. I still can't believe that they actually used this one in the 70s and 80s; back when wrestling, to some degree, could still pass it self off, as a legitimate athletic contest.

Useless flips like RVD's rolling thunder.

The flapjack move not like Edge's but the one which is more of a free fall drop particularly when smaller guys do it.

When i saw the thread title, the slingshot was the first move i thought of. Bret Hart said he tried to use only moves that would look somewhat believable in a bar fight. Imagine someone trying to get u in the position for that move in the middle of a bar brawl

Imagine someone trying to get u in the position for that move in the middle of a bar brawl Bret Hart hated Ric Flairs chop. I somewhat agree, but it did look fairly realistic, in the sense that it made a lot of noise, and it left a big red mark across the chest.

the weirdest thing I've ever thought about the airplane spin is how no one ever transitions into another move from it, like a Samoan drop. They just set the victim down.

Standing Double Axe Handle off the turnbuckle, diving elbows and leg drops. The Axe Handles (as Sid unfortunately demonstrated) and Leg Drops look bad in the sense that the mat takes all of the impact. The diving elbow look bad in the sense that the wrestler doing the move takes all of the impact... and if done legitimately would probably break their arm landing on it. An Arabian style sault leg drop or a leg drop with a chair is absolutely fine, but vanilla leg drops, no thank you.
I also hated RVD's Rolling Thunder and his split leg moonsault.
Though I understood their purposes in terms of match momentum, sleeper choke holds and knuckle lock tests of strength. Always hated them whenever they came around - which was often.
Oh, and back rakes. Good God what is that about?

Randy Savage used to drop all the way to his knees while coming off for the axhandle which really made it look like it hurt. There was nothing stopping his momentum as he conencted.

I never really was keen on The Big Spin move when a wrestler grabs his/her opponent's feet and spins him/her around. I forgot what the actual move is called.

That Playmaker move that MVP used to use as his finisher.
Any move that looks like it damages your knee more than your opponent isn't good.

Most of the moves mentioned above are also my pet peeves. But I have two that I can't stand.
Clothesline a guy over the barricade - because you can tell the guy is just tossing himself over the barricade and it always looks fake.
This move doesn't have a name but I'll describe it as best as I can. Let's say HHH is on the mat and Austin is on the second turnbuckle. Austin jumps off, lands on his feet and then HHH puts his leg up and Austin's face connects with The Game's boot. Then Austin falls backwards and HHH has the advantage. What was Austin planning on doing before he ate boot? Was he going to jump off the ropes, land on his feet, and then drop an elbow? The spot doesn't make any sense.

It's the only way they can do that spot safely. The guy on the ground puts his leg up to stop a move 'in mid-air'. The guy coming off the turnbuckles has to land first so he doesn't injure himself or his opponent, and so he can properly sell it. I have occasionally seen it done without the landing part. It was not pretty.

The People's Elbow The Giant Swing Airplane Spin Slamming your opponent's head in to the turnbuckle
Most of the time I liked the Slingshot though.

Agree with the Playmaker. I also can't stand the unprettier. Seriously the receiving wrestler should always get out when he starts to spin around
