What are some of your favorite shoot interviews?
Mine are pretty much any with Raven or New Jack.
Jim Cornette is also fun to listen to. His youshoot one was pretty good.

I forgot to mention one. Dustin Rhodes rf shoots are really good. The first one was in 2001 not too long after wcw closed. The other one is in 2005 when he was in TNA although it was before the Black Reign gimmick.
One part in the 2005 one will literally get you close to crying in one part. I won't ruin it but let's just say I'm really glad he got back in WWE and is making a decent living again

not seen many but I really liked Mike Awesome's and Rick Martel's, mainly because both just came across as really nice blokes who weren't particularly bitter about their careers and just seemed pleased that people were interested to hear their stories.

If you want to hear guys that aren't bitter and are nice then don't even think about listing to Ole Anderson shoots. He calls Harley Race a bad booker. YES THE GUY BEHIND SHOCKMASTER AND BLACK SCORPION CALLED SOMEONE ELSE A BAD BOOKER. He even calls the interviewer a dumb s***. Ole in shoots comes off as the biggest ass ever and that is comparing his shoots to new jacks and the iron sheik.

The godfather had a pretty funny one, no bitterness at all, and a strange hatred for Big stevie cool, its pretty good if you don't like angry shoots

Hardcore Holly. He doesn't come off at all like the douche people think he is. The worst part of the interview, though, is that he partially blames himself for the Benoit incident. He turned down an invitation to meet Benoit for lunch a day or two before the murders, and he thinks he could've prevented the deaths if he had met Chris.

To be fair to Ole, he wrote "The Black Scorpion" on a booking sheet as a joke and Herd and others thought it sounded great and wanted him to run with it, even after he told them it was a joke. In WCW, he was surrounded by clowns like Herd who couldn't keep their hands off of things, and Ole was quickly losing his passion for the job. To get an idea of Ole as a booker, you'd have to look at stuff from the Georgia territory or Mid-Atlantic when he was booking them. You also have to keep in mind, Herd had made it clear that he wanted to be like the WWF with the gimmicks. So naturally, a booker wanting to keep his job is going to try to book in that fashion in those circumstances. I've met Ole a few times, and while he's definitely very blunt, he's not malicious. Honestly, he came off almost like a Don Rickles - someone you know is bound to say something that could be taken as insulting but it seems like part of his public persona. All I can say for the guy is that at the Fanfests I've been to, if you wanted to talk to Ole Anderson, get an autograph or picture with him, all you had to do was go to the hotel lobby and he'd be sitting there, talking with anyone who wanted to talk. Sorry for the rant. My favorites: Heenan all 3 Heenan/Cornette Cornette/Percy Pringle both Pringle solo shoots Gary Hart Robert Fuller Ricky Morton

CM Punk and Colt Cabana CM Punk and Samoa Joe Jim Mitchell Raven and Sandman Percy Pringle Paul London and Brian Kendrick Also, Colt Cabana had a shoot out last year that was great. It gave a lot of insight into the WWE developmental scene. I was really impressed. So much so, that I actually sent him an e-mail about it which he's got on his MySpace page. Everyone should check the shoot out...it's really good. www.myspace.com/coltcabana

I've not seen a full one but it looks like Cornette's would be brilliant, love listening to him.
My favourite clips however include New Jack going on what was basically a non-stop 5-6 minute rant about Chris Benoit, and Sandman discussing 2 Cold Scorpio's penis before partially collapsing on the floor.
I'd really like to see Cornette/Pringle.

I'd really like to see Cornette/Pringle. It's great. It's mostly Jim asking Percy questions and interjecting tidbits and opinions of his own, and they cover various territories as well as their time in the WWF, ribs, their hatred of Kevin Dunn, Percy's health issues, and more. It's almost 3 hours long, and I'm ready for a part 2.
