I was looking through the books for sale and came upon William Regal's autobiography, which I grabbed for about $17.
But as I was looking, I stumbled upon the greatest thing ever. A book that makes me smile just thinking of it right now.
That's right. I found "Big Apple Take Down" the WWE-wrestlers-as-a-black-op-group book has made its debut.
So that joined Mr. Regal's book and as of page 27 I can guarentee great things.
The book opens with everyone's favorite occurance, Triple H winning the world title. Vince then walks around backstage where everyone tells him how great the show was, with one person saying, "We blew em' away tonight, Mr. McMahon." They don't say Brisco, but you know it is him.
Oh, did I mention that Vince is, at current moment, a COMPLETE HUMANITARIAN. He gets bothered by Howard Finkel, listens to him and then excuses himself. So then Vince, in a hurry to get to a plane, gets into his limo (Where he opens the door himself, because he isn't stuck up...), which is promptly in an accident on snowy roads (The book points out that the farthest thing from Vince's mind is firing the driver).
From there they do the whole recruit thing (I am not giving away ALL the hilarity) and we jump to a mission. The first mission involves....Triple H!! The book assumes that anyone reading it must be incompetant (and yes, I do wonder about myself some times) by POUNDING home the point that Trips is working under an alias. First a guy calls Trips, Mike. Then in another sentence, Trips is said to be "playing the role of Mike", and finally the writer's pause to say "addressing him by his alias." I get it.
Anyway, Big Apple Take Down is destined to run over the New York Times Best Seller list. Oh, and the cover shows a heavily cleavaged Torrie holding a gun. The first couple pages of Regal's book is also interesting, but I'll go for the comedy book first.
