Any news on if they're going to bring this back or not?

Not likely, I don't even know if we'll have Tag Champions for ECW.

Any news on if they're going to bring this back or not? Doubt it. They do not seem to be moving on the tag team titles either. My bet is they are waiting to see if it gets picked up past 12 weeks before investing in more belts. Of course with hot shot McMahon running things they could hand Kelly the TV strap like they handed RVD his ECW strap on Tuesday, so who knows.

And Rhino who of course is in TNA, is still arguably TV champion, unless it was decided he vacated it when he slamme dit down and screamed "WHY THE f*** AM I TELEVISION CHAMPION WHEN THIS POOR ASS COMPANY DON'T EVEN f***IN HAVE TV".
or maybe im taking this way too seriously.

Maybe. But they do need to bring another mid-card title in at some stage. title matches attract more interest and its not like ECW is brimming with storylines to do this at the moment.

By the same true logic Rhyno is still the ECW champion. These facts are why McMahon ignores logic. If McMahon had half a brain he would have had Rhyno job one or both straps to Sabu last year. The interesting thing is that Sabu is now less hard for McMahon to do business with than Rhyno. ECW now has a roster of about 15 wrestlers, most of whom are no longer flown weekly to television. This makes a mid card and tag team titles unlikely.

They do need at least one more belt. And with the way they're using him, Sabu would make a damn good TV champ. He's wrestling every week anyway and I always imagine a TV belt as a way of exhibiting one wrestler's particular skills. Have Sabu fight every week and establish the belt as having some prestige, then have one of the new guys, perhaps Knox, Punk, hell even Test, beat him after a bit of build-up. It'd establish a second-tier belt, give Sabu a chance to show off and give one of the newer guys some sense of legitimacy.
But I'm armchair booking. In short, TV belt = YAYAH!

I say yes to having the tv belt back, and having Sabu, Mike Knox, C.M. Punk, and Test all be involved in a feud for it. This would make for great ECW tv, however, and Vince and creative want no part of that, so it probably won't happen.

They just need to flesh out and develop the roster more first. I do not think McMahon has the interest to do more belts, he is just lame. Even if he does a TV title, McMahon will not know how to book it right like Heyman did as the equal of the World title (a concept I never fully agreed with, but which I found to be fascinating).

I am not against a return of the ECW TV title. It would give the extremists/rebels/rapists/terrorists (whatever they're called this week) that are not in the World title picture something to shoot for. I would love to see guys like Punk, Stevie, Credible, and Balls fighting over the TV title. Of course those four seem to only wrestle on house shows.

I am shooting, I lost track. Until Punk debuts there will be no new titles on television. I do not see Punk debuting until they are sure ECW will last. Therefore, no ECW television title. If they did it Big Slow would just get it anyway.

Last time I checked they were "extremists," though I thought I heard that WWE trademarked "ECW rebels," so they could be going back to calling them "rebels."

I can understand them waiting until the twelve weeks was up to bring back the TV and World Tag Team Championships. Their roster is still too thin at the moment and they got like what, two tag teams?

I think the raw and smakdown tag team division needs to be repaired before they bring in ECW tag team titles to screw up on. Same with the midcard level. they need to establish a real midcard level and stop all this back and forth s*it.
