Going back twenty five years, I will never forget listening to this record over and over with my cousin's at my gramma's, a dark room except for a little red light on the large record player ( I'm an old man kids); but on a lark I thought, I wonder if anyone YouTubed it.. sure enough, it is:
Listening to it now brings back a whole lotta memories; and actually a couple of times has creeped me out ( laugh if you must, but this is old childhood fears the sounds bring back up here lol.)
Anyone else have this LP back in the day?

My grandma had/has this. I remember listening to it at least once back in the 80s. Can't recall if I was really scared of it or not.

I'm listening to all the tracks now, and like I said, it may've been the atmosphere, as we'd listen to it in the middle of the night, the only light in the room at the end of a long hallway was a couple mm sized dot red power light..creepy.

I remember that stuff. But as a kid, I was more scared of the Soviets.

What's scary is that I mentioned Boris Karloff to a young woman one night in conversation, and she looked at me with a confused look on her face and said, "Who?"

So you should never try to do the Monster Mash anywhere near her house; as the phrase " Boris sent me." * wouldn't get you anywhere. *I know that's not who it's referring to, but we're cramming everything from Disney's Haunted House record, to Eighties Russian wrestlers, to Universal horror actors in this topic already, might as well go for Halloween themed novelty songs as well.

Anyone else have this LP back in the day? Yep, played it every Halloween. Side A was... creepy, but bearable. Side B on the other hand... The sun will be up soon, right?

I'm borderline worried that as a grown man I'll dream about this shit tonight and wake the neighbors. Honestly the woman's narration there creeped me out even more than the sounds. Who knew giving a thirty second set up about how dogs can turn out terrifying followed by howls and barks coming closer and closer to getcha could be so damn scary.

It kind of reminds of a Halloween tape my brother used to have.(except it had music) It scared the hell out of me at the time and I was surprised it was sold along kids costumes on Halloween.

That really excludes the kids where the closest hill is a couple hours away...

That really excludes the kids where the closest hill is a couple hours away... or does it make it MORE terrifying? I mean if you have to change counties to get away from Soviet Wrestler ghosts, that's even scarier.
