Like this Finallyfast.com stuff-it was spyware all along, but did anyone check into it? No. those damn commercials ran forever.
How about all these pills that are not approved or even evaluated by the FDA? What's the point in having an FDA if they don't even care if some bullshit is sold?
Or what about bottled water? a lot of companies refuse to release their information about where their water comes from.
Is anybody bothering with this shit at all?

Whenever I see a commercial that isn't by a big name company I automatically assume it's a scam. I'm so jaded.

Penn & Teller did a show on bottled water, I believe it's actually controlled by the EPA, not the FDA and the EPA has less than one person to oversee the entire bottled water industry in the US. At my dad's work, they decided to take some bottled water to their lab, just to test it, see what was there. It was loaded with shit. All kind of bacteria and what have you.

The EPA actually controls tap water. The FDA controls bottled water, with less than one person overseeing it.

Been a while since I saw the show and I am not even American, so I could have confused the two groups.

I'd like to see the people behind the fake anti-virus malware that downloads itself and diverts everything publicly held to account, made to apologise in full to everyone who has had one of those attacks and then jailed for a very long time.

Bottled water is such a ripoff anyway. Why keep on buying water when you can just get a Pur / Brita / whatever filter pitcher, and clean up your own tap water? I'm sure the filters don't catch everything, but it sure looks and tastes cleaner -- cleaner than many bottled waters, actually.

Because our tap water is really, really terrible (it's from a crappy well system with all sorts of crap in it), we get our drinking water from a natural spring a few miles north of where we live. We only have to donate a few bucks and we fill up a couple jugs of the stuff. It's still a hell of a lot cheaper than buying the stuff from the bottle.

And I keep telling them it's less expensive, and healthier, than bottled water. And they NEVER believe me.

I buy bottle water 'cause I don't drink soda and try to watch my calories and when I'm at the gas station and thirsty I want water. People do drink water outside of the home ya know.

Do you know how large the government would have to be to protect us from every stupid decision we as a nation make?

If you aren't smart enough to know that Finallyfast.com is a crock of shit, you deserve the spyware. Seriously, do your homework.

I don't know how it'd be possible to cook up an answer to this question without it being political...since that's kind of the foundation of the question.
