I'm glad we get one more Bond movie before the Earth melts and tries to unsuccessfully kill John Cusack.

Awesome Now I want Michael Sheen to play the villain, Christina Hendricks to play the Bond girl, Stephen Moffat to write the screenplay/script, Paul Greengrass to direct, and Muse to perform the opening credits song. Not asking for too much

This makes me so happy. And Craig is coming back so that's double happiness.
I just pray we don't get the same camerawork we got in QOS.

I have enjoyed the two Craig movies but compared to Peirce, Danial Craig is less James Bond and more The Transporter. In the debate among Bond fans about who is your Bond, Peirce Bosnan is mine and that is tough to say as I am a huge fan of Sir Sean Connery

I've always thought of Pierce Brosnan as my favorite Bond with my least favorite Bond movies (except Goldeneye)

Each actor brings something radically new to the part.

Truth be told the version of James Bond that Craig portrays is closer to what the novel depicts if I'm not mistaken.

Quantum of Solace played as a nice epilogue to Casino Royale, though it wasn't able to match the former.
My trouble with the future of the Bond franchise is where does it go from here? I hope they don't go the remake route, but I'm not sure of the track record for non-novel based Bond movies. I can't find a list of which ones were original stories for the movies to compare the two, though I am also aware that the films strayed pretty far from the books to begin with.

This reminds me I need to get off my ass and see QoS. I hope you don't have motion sickness problems. I believe the next Bond is supposedly the conclusion of the "trilogy". It'll involve that group again that we saw in CR and QOS. Don't know if that's accurate though.
