Scully from the X-Files, I liked it how she turned from being a snitch for her bosses to a skeptic like Mulder was.

As the Boy Meets World series aged, Eric Matthews turned into this ridiculous character who was never serious and always funny. What I came in here to post. I enjoyed the entire run of the show, but honestly I thought it got better as it went. I really enjoyed the humor.

Shawn went from just goofy best friend to something deeper, Topanga went from hippie chick to Cory's girlfriend and eventual wife, and of course, Cory went from smart alecky kid to becoming a whole different character entirely.

Nearly all characters on TNG changed for the better as the show progressed. The first season has this "we want to be like TOS"-feeling. Later on and beginning with season 3 they developed their own personalities (Riker with beard is better than without ;D )
