I know these things seem to have a stigma attached to them. I've seen many comments on here and in other places making fun of the people who buy these things. Well maybe not for buying them, but more for wearing them out in public and such. Anyway I never thought I would buy one, but then again I never thought I'd do alot of other things either. But recently I did buy one, I guess you could say it was a Christmas present to myself. So here it is...... Its my favorite title belt ever, and normally I wouldn't have bought it. But here is the thing, I got it for 40% off its normal price, so to me it felt insane to pass it up. Its weird though, since I got it I can't put the damn thing down. I've put it on a few times, I've carried it around with me (in the house), hell its on my shoulder as I write this. I know it sounds dumb as hell but it just feels special holding this thing, despite the fact I know its a replica title anyone can buy. Does anyone else own any of these? More importantly. Does anyone get what I mean about what its like to actually hold one of these things and have a special feeling? I wouldn't have bought it at all if it wasnt 40% off though lol. I dunno, just wanted to share and see if anybody else here has any of these.

Very nice, I have a WHC belt I spent roughly 1,200$+ on, It's far superior to the 300$ ones and i greatly enjoy it. You going to display it anywhere?

I bought a replica original ECW World Title belt for a rather reasonably low price. I was the same way for a while, couldn't stop looking at it and holding it. But I think that goes with a first time holding something like that. It does wear off.

Eventually I'll display it somewhere when I get the chance. As for the feeling wearing off, I know that will happen too, but I like it for now, it makes you feel like a kid again. Especially with this particular belt.

I bought the replica WCW title on eBay in 2002 for a steal at $100. I keep it in it's WCW belt bag because if I have it out, I just can't stop looking at it. I wanted a belt so bad when I was a kid and I've had it for 8 years and for $100, it was so worth it.

When I was at Armageddon Expo earlier this year the WWE stand were selling replica belts, including the WCW belt from when Flair took the big gold to WWF. I had to convince myself that I couldn't afford it. But man, if I had the money I would sooo get one.

I don't think there's really a problem with people that buy the belts. I love some of them are really really nice. I don't even think there's a problem with wearing it around the house.
The problem is people that wear the belts to live events, or autograph signings.

I paid 184, so not quite as cheap, but still a great deal. When I first took it out of the bag and held it for the first time, It reminded me of the time I got to hold the Colts Super Bowl trophy. Yes I mean the actual real deal Lombardi Trophy. Just kinda funny, that this replica WWF Title gave me the same feeling.

I dissagree, with signings it's a bit cliche but if your like me you have and have a belt with signatures on it I see no harm, with live events there just getting into the atmosphere, the same way is if you where to wear a giant foam finger.

Going to my local pub for wrestlemania 17 I saw a guy actually wear one and it was so freakin cool to see it (i was young of course) I bought the attitude belt out of impulse and when I got it in it felt so surreal as if I hasd just won it. I like hem. its a nice way to collect them and show them off

One thing that gets me is that even though it's a replica, there's some weight to the belt. I never got to hold one until mine came in the mail and I thought it would be really light, but when I picked up that package, I thought "damn, that's heavy!" Also, the shiny plates just make you stare at it, epecially if it's something you've always wanted.

I got a replica of the spinner belt for $100 WWE was selling at a meet & greet. I was like should I should I oh what the hell I will. I really want the attitude era WWF title one that has WWF on it too I cant settle for it having WWE on it. Eventually I plan on getting the former TNA title.
To the OP where did you get it from to get 40% off?

At my last job I tried to convince our manager to buy one on the company dime and then give it to the employee of the month each month.
It didn't fly, but would have been awesome if it did.

Best idea ever, If i won i'd cut a heel promo turning my back on the company and teasing to join the rival one. Thou not real at my current job me and my coworker freinds battle for the prestigious (plastic) hardcore store championship.

I have the Smoking Skull, WWE Title(the one after Mania 14) and the Undisputed title. They look great but I'm not taking them out or anything.

I won the WWF World (attitude-era), WCW US Title, and European title belts on some online trivia contests almost 10 years ago at this point. They hang in my home office, and I take them down every once in awhile to hold. My 4-year-old daughter loves playing with them; I eventually bought her one of the kids'-sized replicas.
We taped some pictures to one of them for our softball team's "Player of the Game" award we do for our fun co-ed league. That's always fun. And I do wear one every Halloween. I have a Mexican wrestling mask, and I'll always combine the two with another costume- like a chef's uniform, or Baseball uniform- and go as an 80s-era wrestler-with-a-second-job-from-Mexico. It usually is a big enough hit.

I bought myself the Winged Eagle title belt as a Christmas gift for myself back in 2009, so we are in the same boat.
I had it signed by HBK when I met him in January last year, and it's sitting proudly in a display case in my room.

I've got a kid sized Undisputed Title replica belt. I was 15 when I bought it, so the kid size was more than big enough. We used it as the world title in my backyard fed. My favorite "replica" belt I've owned was my plastic Smoking Skull championship. It was the previous world title in my backyard fed but it got retired when our champion decided to defend it in a game of Smackdown and lost it to someone that none of us knew.

I think replica belts are awesome. I can't bring myself to spend more than $100 on one, but I have no problem with other fans who do. They make for great autograph material - but please don't have it signed by anyone who never won that particular title, that's just poor taste.
As for me, I only have one of those toy $12 belts (winged eagle WWE title) hanging in my room. My friends and I used it a trophy for our competitive activities until we finally grew apart and to "retire" the title. Basically, anytime we got together to play pool, go bowling, play Texas Hold'em, play video games, or anything competitive the winner would go home with the title belt. Having a cheap toy championship belt as a "trophy" was a great way to make silly activities more interesting.
