Yes. There is no reason for it not to be there. WM for Zero year anniversaries should always be there. I do not care if it does not look as pretty as Jerry Jones pleasure palace of jackassery, but its MSG. It is the root of Wrestlemania and WWF/E. To NOT be there would be a travesty.

Who knows. I think the WWE would lose a ton of money in seat revenue considering MSG only holds a bit less then 20,000 fans.
I for one hope they do return, because it means I will be going!

Absolutely not. After all those years of stadium shows, MSG would be such a comedown for WWE. And I hate when they use that little entranceway and the wrestlers come from the top of the screen. It's different, sure, but this is WRESTLEMANIA. If WWE refers to it as "the grandest stage of them all" then I think the entrance set should reflect that. They can probably still do that, MSG is huge, they just like to use the small entrance because it's classic. I remember being shocked that WM20 had an actual set because I was expecting the small entrance. Besides, everytime WWE is in MSG, it feels epic. That RAW in 2009 when they were there definitely felt different than usual, and I like that.

I kind of don't like the MSG fans for booing and chanting "boring" a lot, like they did during the Goldberg/Lesnar match at WM XX. Those fans turned an epic confrontation into an embarrassment. To me, it speaks that they are spoiled and there's other fans/cities out there who would be more appreciative of the show. If the fans at MSG boo something, everyone watching on TV is led to believe that what they are watching sucks. That's not a good thing, as the fans can ruin the show for people watching at home. I like a hot crowd, but I don't like it when they spend more time booing rather than cheering. Give the show to fans who will appreciate it more. Some of the posts in this topic go along with the notion that New York feels "entitled" to the show. They're not. I would rather they go overseas than do it in front of New Yorkers who want to boo everything.

That's how bad it was. Lesnar and Goldberg quit the company and were half assing the match anyway. They didn't care, and they didn't wanna care. The fans gave them what they deserved. NYC fans are HONEST. They don't just buy into what the WWE machine feeds them. If they don't like something, they will express it. That's what fans should do. If something sucks...it should get booed. NYC fans keep it real and don't just boo things for the sake of booing. They are just honest, thats all. Listen to the reactions Cena, Rock, Benoit, Flair, Taker and Austin get that night. When NYC fans like something, they like it. If you half ass it, and just show up to get your check and ditch the company while putting on an awful match, why do you deserve to be cheered?

I'll agree that the staredown at the beginning of the match went on a little too long, but honestly if the crowd buys into it, the fans at home will buy into it. If the crowd boos it, the fans at home will boo it. The crowd can really shape how the match is perceived. I'm convinced that if the crowd had not been that brutal towards them, people wouldn't have considered it such a bad match. I watched the match. It was over-hyped, sure, but once it got going, it wasn't that bad. The crowd made the match terrible, in my eyes. If the live crowd isn't enjoying the show, then neither can I. I do laugh a little when they boo when they're not supposed to like the marks WWE wants, but when they keep on it I feel stupid for ordering a show that the live crowd doesn't even like.

The Pontiac Silverdome is back in business they should hold another Mania there. And yes I realize 23 was at Ford Field.

I can't believe this is even being asked.
Yes, for the reason others have mentioned.
It's MSG. It's pretty much where the WWWF/WWF/WWE was made. Anywhere else would be wrong.

Nah, I wouldn't mind at all if they skip MSG. Sure, I live pretty close to MSG myself, just 1-2 hour drive depending on traffic.

I love watching MSG WrestleManias, because the crowd is always on fire. Also, I mark for the classic MSG entry way. I was bummed when they didn't use it at WrestleMania XX.

I'm so sick of people blaming the fans for these two putting on a shit match. Neither Lesnar nor Goldberg cared...so why should anyone else in that arena have? Everyone was hyped for it, but when they got out there and did NOTHING...what did you want people to do? Cheer them on for standing up straight?

It HAS to be at MSG. Its a tradition, and I believe that NYC crowd really makes the show better. I was at WM XX , the greatest night of my life (as a wrestling fan) , I will sure as hell do my absolute best to attend WM XXX. This may be biased , because Im from NY- but still it only feels right. Sure Yankees stadium or Citfield would bring in more revenue, but it would not be the same. They should run Summerslam at one of these stadiums.

I certainly think WM30 should be at MSG, it's where it all started. I don't get why people are so hellbent on WM being in a stadium. Only in the last ten years has it been exclusively in stadiums, from '85 to '00 it was only held in 2 stadiums.
If they want to do something big they should do a Wrestlemania overseas in a stadium. As far as outdoor stadiums go in the US, save that for Summerslam when the weather is better suited for it.

There came a point in the match where it didn't matter what they did - the fans were going to boo them regardless. The crowd decided early on that they were going to let them both have it, and that's exactly what they did. Both men got booed during their entrances. They never stood a chance. Brock Lesnar could have busted out a top-rope hurrican-rana to smash Goldberg through a flaming table, and I bet they still would have booed. All they wanted to see was Stone Cold whoop both of them.
I'm not trying to say the match was great or anything. It was definably a let down, but it was far from being the worst match ever. The crowd made it feel worse than it was. Hogan/Andre was a much worse match, and yet that one is considered epic because the fans ate it up in heaping spoonfuls.

Wrestlemania 3, 6 and 8 were all in large buildings but you say in the last 10 years it has been exclusively in Stadiums, 21 and 22 were both in small arenas. I always want Mania in a venue that holds at least 50,000 people. It just adds to the whole experience of Wrestlemania. It's the biggest event of the year, stick it in a huge stadium. Unless it's a Wrestlemania that ends in zero. Then it has to be held at MSG. As a Brit, I'd love them to do a Wrestlemania at Wembley Stadium or somewhere like that. But if they announced that Wrestlemania 30 was to be at Wembley I'd be pissed off, as it should be at MSG.
