I have been on a kick of watching the wwe bio dvds lately and have wondered why there isnt a taker bio dvd or even a book?
I would love to hear more about his early career, his and other WWE officials ideas and thoughts of his gimmick because it was so over the top. Things about his life out of the ring, the streak some of his more unintentionally funny moments along with controversial ones.
Any reason this hasnt been made yet or is it planned at some point soon?

Taker is way too serious about kayfabe and wants to be known as the Dead Man only. he's very protective of his character....
.....unless he's at countless MMA fights out of character and doing interviews with some random schmo for a blog

Yeah, I assume it's because it would be more like a horror movie instead of a real documentary.

I really don't know why Vince or Taker is protective of his Deadman gimmick. We already know what he's like outside of the gimmick. The American Badass is really Taker as a person and even Taker admitted it. We've seen him on talk shows, as another poster mentioned at a MMA event, and etc. So I think it's time to stop being protective of it and let him write a book, have a dvd, and whatever about him. Come on, other than kiddies, do they really expect to believe that when Taker is not wrestling he's sucking souls out and guiding them in the afterlife?

The first time I was seriously in to wrestling (only watched off and on in the height of the Attitude Era) was when he was Biker 'Taker, thought it was pretty awesome. Plus, they let him wear pants! The man needs to buy some pants.

After he retires, we will see it all spill out IMO. Shoot interview, WWE-produced documentary, 3-disc set, autobiography. And tbh it will besome of the most compelling reading available. He has been through everything in the WWE.

There's been a few DVDs of his. Once he retires I'm certain they'll have a DVD where he sits down and chats about his life and career. "Protective of his gimmick" is not true at all, as he's done countless interviews for sports sites and other blogs out of character.
Taker seems like one of the most down-to-earth guys in the company from what I've seen and heard, so a career-spanning documentary would be one of the most interesting they have to put out. I'd love to see his take on his old WCW days and how it was there.

I am really hoping for a bio dvd, WWE has the footage so that would be nice to see some of the old matches.
I just hope WWE does it right and doesn't skip around some of the things like "Where to Stephanie" the Austin crucifiction, etc
Plus find out about him growing up, how he got into the business, all of his stops along the way before he came to be the Undertaker. Plus what he really thought about that gimmick to start of with because I think we all look back and thought how the heck did that end up becoming one of the most popular wrestlers of all time.
Also talking about Hell in a Cell, casket matches (doubt they will ever give out some of the secrets they use for this and buried alive match)

I'm shocked that the 50 Greatest DVD actually had a Biker Taker match since WWE seems to ignore that era now.
