Tv stations have taken a "top 40 radio" approach to their shows-they show them over and over and ouver and often times repeat the most popular episodes. Then when they burn out, like Fresh Prince, they bring in something else and play it to death til everyone is sick of it. I can't imagine anyone buying some of these shows on dvd like it was mentioned when they are on so damn much. Don't worry. In five or ten years cable will be done for and then you will be able to watch whatever show you want on your tv via the internet. And yes I'm totally serious.

I've been wondering how long it will take for this to happen. Stuff like NXT, where it premieres online at a certain time and day and you either catch it live streaming, or on demand later like Hulu and Netflix do now. Full episodes streaming have really just come along in the last couple years -- I can see the technology catching up in the next 5 to 10 years. Although, I swear I read an article not too long ago about how Netflix's streaming was putting a big strain on the infrastructure of their servers, or the big ISPs, or something along those lines. I hope that doesn't become an issue.

I noticed Fresh Prince and That 70s Show were on multiple channels. For That 70s Show, it was aired on a local channel out here before, then on FX, then on The N, and then on ABC Family. It's not on The N/Teen Nick anymore, at least I don't think. Fresh Prince aired on TBS, Nick at Nite, and The N (I guess that is different because The N/TeenNick is connected to Nickelodeon).
