So... Yeah. I'm looking around on the X-Box Arcade and trying to find a dating sim. Never played one, want to give them a shot.
I did find one in Japanese that got me started on this search in the first place, but doesn't really help. Anyone know of any?
That means you, Cthulhu.

I vaugely recall seeing one in the Discount Game Asle at Target. To my knowlege, they haven't been that popular in the American Market.

If they are what I'm thinking of, there are a few on Newgrounds.

No offense, but that's like very near the bottom of loserdom...unless theres cartoon titties in it I want to try it due to generally enjoying the dating aspect of Harvest Moon games as well as games with multiple paths and visual novels. It just seems like something that from an entertainment standpoint I'd enjoy.

Well, I don't have an X-Box, so I can't help you there. If it's the PC, though... regarding visual novels, Utawarerumono, Sengoku Rance, and Clannad have English patches. The first two are SRPGs and visual novels, while Clannad is just a visual novel. Clannad doesn't have any R-18 stuff so it's work-safe. You could poke around the internet and you might find a few groups doing translations as well.
You could also get AGTH. However, reading the rough translations can be really annoying, since it's more or less google translate level.
Katawa Shoujo should be out this year, as well as My Girlfriend is the President and Koihime Musou. MangaGamer, the one who translated Koihime Musou, has other visual novels like Da Capo and Higurashi.
Tsukihime and Fate/stay Night, too, have translations.
All of them are in the PC... so, well, use a PC.
Now, to prevent people from throwing burning poop at each other, I might as well answer first. Really, the idea that playing one dating sim, or several, places one at the bottom of loser-dom, is pretty stupid. Okay, more silly than stupid. Now, obviously, obsessing too much on something is a problem, but that problem is the fault of the person not the game, dating sim, whatever. Moderation, like always, is needed.

I don't necessarily think you're a loser for playing a dating sim but I am genuinely curious as to WHY someone would play one. I can usually understand the appeal of almost anything even if I don't like it but I just don't get dating sims.

I can usually understand the appeal of almost anything even if I don't like it but I just don't get dating sims. Generally speaking, the best ones are often ones with an interesting storyline to them or with interesting gameplay. Using Sengoku Rance as an example; It's a Strategy RPG that is set in an alternative version of the Warring States Period of Japanese History. So it's got the usual faces in it but with some great twists to them. Example; Takeda Shingen is not an actual person but a figurehead for the Takeda House. The big four simply has one of them wearing his arm and acting as him when he needs to make a public appearance. Hell, Tokugawa is a tanuki. Keeping with actual history, he'll stay neutral unless the Takeda House go to war with you. "The one eyed Dragon" Date Masamune is now an armoured eyeball that leads the Youkai army. He's also friggin awesome.

Record of Agarest War is a part dating-sim, isn't it? That might be on Arcade, I know it was released as a physical copy for the 360.

In the PS1, there's an RPG called Thousand Arms. You get to date the female characters in your party, and there are four of them, and four more dateable NPCs. It doesn't really change the story, in any case.

If you have a PS2, Persona 4 is a fantastic RPG with a great fighting system that incorporates a lot of dating-sim style stuff in it.
